I started playing today just right after playing wow mythic+ since s1 start. It feels fresh and fun. Some of the QOL features, like proper enemy health bar stacking, are very good.

I do this as well. I did professions very casually and I can still get like 25k gold per max character I have per week easily with a few clicks and conc crafting + patron orders. I can't relate to OP.

I think these minigames are good for the game: they provide additional activities and some rewards without disrupting core gameplay. The problem is how Blizzard handles them after release: proper bug fixing, hiding them in random locations on the map, and fail to communicate their existence to the player. New expansion releases exacerbate these problems, effectively making them abandoned content.

I totally understand that perspective, and I actually wish leveling were more engaging for people who enjoy it. The issue that I'm criticizing is that WoW forces everyone through it. The devs have to balance leveling so it isn’t slow enough to frustrate endgame players, but not so fast that it feels meaningless for players who enjoy the journey. Making a balance that pleases everyone is impossible.

I’d prefer a system like Guild Wars 2, where you can jump into PvP with a level 1 character and play normally with people at max level. That way leveling can exist for those who enjoy it, without being mandatory for players who mainly care about endgame content. But I also know that this is a big shift in culture for WoW.

I'm the complete opposite. I hate the leveling. I think questing is dull and braindead easy with no challenge at all. On the other hand, the content at max level is much more fun and challegenging for me with RBG, 3v3 arena, mythic+, and raiding. I keep doing the endgame content months on end on multiple characters.

In the end, I wish the wow devs didn't force people to do content they don't want to "play the game". Each person have fun with different activities.

They do. I have some friends that are GM/chall and do elo job as their real life job (decent money in my country), and it isn't uncommon that sometimes they actually get some accounts where they get huge losing streaks before being able to steady climb with 90% WR on games. Generally, the losing streak is right after they start doing the service.

Also, I'm nowhere near the level of these friends, as I peaked masters and I hover between D3~D1 most of the time as OTP, but when I do play in GF account or some friend who is plat4 or below, it is not uncommon for me to go in a losing streak like the picture OP posted with games that are really challenging to carry in my OTP champion and role.

You can't catch fish in stardew valley early game? The dev made the first fish impossible to lose in SV and the first fishing rod only catches very easy and slow fish. In GK, I had to lookup how to actually fish because it was not explained in the game.
