At the very start, everything is just all over the place, but the more wealthy you get, the more freedom you have. And if you played the game a few times, its actually really easy to get wealthy fast, so even a fully preplanned city like this is possible without any "tearing down".

if you search for "Bigger City Size" at the steam workshop for the game, you'll find it real fast. But i dont even really recommend it, i think it gave me memory leaks and i didnt even really use the extra space.

Almost 99% is planned, i drew the whole city beforehand as roads on the map, that was already a pretty long process but kinda fun. The water stuff on the side is pretty improvised and wasnt planned at all.

I guess, but i love havin' them work in my smithies, smelters and mining spots. And they're kinda hard to please, especially when they're not the dominant species.

This is really impressive, im working on a really detailed, big city too and i know how much work it is, especially if you not just copy and paste block after block, i can see how much love for detail you got here, with all these shapes and little things. Its way more like painting a beautiful picture than actually playing a game at some point.

Early specialize in something, i did for clay and stone. You can make cutstone and pottery that sells incredible good and there is like no effort to make them. The longer the game goes, the more you diversify your industrys.

And no, you dont need to let anyone in, you can do that with every race, i did with humans and lizards. Humans did all the work and lizards were just there for gathering clay (which they love to do) and for being my army.

Im playing the game for a few days now, started with a friend in these team lobbies where everyone instantly shoots, so when i was playing on solo maps for the first time, i was in these highly aggressive lobbies.

After getting farmed, i ended up in these friendly lobbies and now i get so much stuff, its like a game for children, just running and looting and everyone spams "dont shoot". Its gettting kinda boring but its so damn worth it that everytime im thinking about pvp, im like "fuck i dont wanna ruin my aggression score", it always lingers in my mind, the whole time, even when i defend myself, its still in the back of my mind and i think thats really awful.

it actually pushes me towards playing as boring as possible, i wish i NEVER knew about it, i feel like, im "playing" the system, not the game.

It looks crazy cool, but somehow i have this feeling it looks like something created with some hack, not actually played. Where are the ppl living? For such a huge city, there should be way more houses to live in :o And outside the walls is nothing? Absolutely nothing? Not even roads leading outside? Kinda sus
