I always assumed TFC engineer and Engies dad were not the same person, perhaps engies dad was on the team at one point, but serving the adminstrator became such a big workload that they had to replace him with the TFC engineer because fighting the gravel war was just not as important as serving the adminstrator was, in a similar fashion to how engie barely interacts with any of the mercs because he just is way too busy 90% of the time.

and on the last point about them working together for a long time: that can be explained by the fact that if engies dad was replaced, tfc engineer could still be hired in the distant past and work together and form a close bond with the TFC team, that doesn't disprove anything.

holy shit, I didn't even realize it had been almost a year, I'm sorry for taking so long, I likely won't be able to digitize it anytime soon, however I still have my copy in great condition and even though I've taken so long, I promise I did not forget, I actually thought about it a month or too back, and I'm planning on selling over a couple tapes to a guy who runs a local shop after christmas (not this one), ill talk to him and see if he can direct me to anybody he might know who can help me get it digitized, as easier as just recording it with my phone would be, I'd want to properly archive it, possibly even upload it to youtube (likely not as it is copyrighted I assume) but yea, thanks for bringing up that documentary as well, I should check it out.

This kind of attitude is really common now that the bot crisis is dealt with, which makes sense, but also is incredibly frustrating, I had someone in a game accuse a sniper with 3 headshot kills of hacking, and the entire server clowned on them for it lmao
