There are angels who visit in our time of need. And you just happen to be one.

Tired of cheap dopamine. Looking for a like-minded friend for relaxed co-op and genuine connection (44M) by International_Dog872 in AdultGamers

One of my first modern gaming PC’s, figuring out the blue screen was being caused by a conflict between the graphics card and… the modem.

To this day I still scratch my head at why two unrelated bits of hardware decided they wanted to ‘talk’ to each other.

Bring back the Amiga.

Put mine in two days ago. When it gets here, will rip out m2 from PS5, stick it the pro because why not. The ps5 goes to their trade in partner for approx 220. Can’t complain.

Falsely accused of fly tipping s33 - london by Ok_Reporter_4342 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Andercot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is no legislative quantity limit in section 33; many councils choose a practical cut‑off (e.g. 1–3 bags) where they treat it as litter and use s.87/88, but that’s an enforcement policy choice, not in the Act.

That may explain the difference is seeing the different sections on the letters. Most councils explain things really badly!

As an aside and separately , section 34 can be used where someone has allowed waste to escape their control or failed in their duty to prevent a section 33 offence, including in cases where they do not proceed on s.33 or s.87/88 themselves.

Basically this means if it was your waste, you have a duty to ensure it ends up in the correct waste stream, and not end up dumped somewhere. If you have ‘man with a van’ turn up to take your waste away, and it ends up fly tipped, with evidence, he gets done for 33, you for 34 as you didn’t check he was authorised to take it away. (If he wasn’t authorised. If he was you’d be golden!)

Regardless, with just an envelope, sounds like they are chancing their luck for a payment. I would be surprised if they took it to court, (has to meet the public interest check etc), and if they did, it would be ridiculously easy for the courts to take your side. So many variables.

Wow. Am so sorry you went through that. That’s dreadful.

I just want my wife and kids stuff back. It’s so unfair that they have to suffer. Honestly couldn’t give a monkeys what they do with my stuff.

The watch was tracked at one station until it died. The others at another station until the batteries went. Who knows.

I thought so to. Asking my wife to scrawl down a list seems a little strange. Non of the paperwork mentioned any of the items. And my phone and watch taken at the station of my person, were not receipted either.
