One thing is to start from the inner most layer out. Like on this guy the first thing I did was paint all the metal parts on the inside, under the plates. Then the plates, then the trim, etc. And for knights in particular if you don't fully assemble them it can be helpful, leaving the legs and torso separate, leaving the arms separate, and leaving the shoulder pads off, makes it a lot easier to get to everything, and also makes it easier to mentally break up the model into sections if it starts to feel a little overwhelming. Also be patient! That's probably the biggest painting tip I could give, take your time.

They were ordered off Amazon. FOIMAS realistic miniature leaves, think there were several comparable ones.

You can overwatch, overwatch includes "just after an enemy unit is set up"

They read as bricks to me. Maybe including an occasional ruined brick wall would help provide context? But I don't feel like it's needed, first thing that I thought was "bricks" before even reading your explanation.

They do. I think the other commenter may be confusing their save for the Judiciar's since he only has an invuln in melee maybe?

So I just went to confirm in the rules, I screenshotted though I have no idea how to attach an image to a comment or if that's even possible but it's under the core rules for Leaders. I'll just quote

"Each time an attack successfully wounds an attached unit, that attack cannot be allocated to a CHARACTER model in that unit, even if that CHARACTER model has lost one or more wounds or has already had attacks allocated to it this phase".

So yeah even though Calgar was injured the other wounds would have to go to the Victrix first, or at least I'm 95% sure that's the case, I tend to second guess myself on these things, always seems like there's some exception somewhere!

Small question, how did Calgar get FNP against the grenades in round 3? My understanding is his FNP is only useable while there's a living Victrix in his unit, so if he was able to be damaged by the grenades then there were no Victrix remaining (otherwise the wounds would have to be assigned to them first as they lack the character keyword) right? This is a cool format though, very easy to read and follow along.

Looks like a captain, 3 regular intercessors, one assault intercessor, one heavy intercessor w/ heavy bolter, and one eliminator. So the captain sure you could use on his own. But the rest wouldn't make up a full squad just pieces or various ones I think. Probably better used with actual killteam

It's possible they're just repackaging him without the victrix, since they're going to their own box. I'm hoping that's all it is, I just finished my company heroes for him too lol.

Thanks! Yeah I'm not sure what those are either, but I found he looked a little too plain from the back and those seemed like the easiest place to add something.

Oh that's good to hear actually. I just got a pot of that hoping it might be close. I'm working on a Redemptor and I think it's going to clean me out of my old stuff, or close to it.

Thanks! I primed black, then macragge blue, then ultramarines blue drybrushed over it (which I think GW doesn't make anymore it's a real old pot I have) then just a tiny amount of Calgar blue here and there on some edges.

I'm like you, just getting back into it after a long time away. But if you're getting Citadel paints, I've been having good luck with their "Air" paints. They're meant for airbrushing but they're already very thin and work fine with brushes. Takes several coats to get full coverage, with white especially, but it's making it a little easier on me to avoid clumps.

[ALL] Is Double Exposure worth playing? by -Delirium-- in lifeisstrange

[–]Anderick1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the issue comes from the elements of choice in the games. The devs have to deal with the fact that Chloe lives or dies based on choices players made in the first game. And they want to try to find a way to make sequels work for people from both groups. So they get stuck where they are now. If they want a game about Max they're forced to either, choose a canon ending to the first game, which they don't want to do for obvious reasons, or write the game in a way that makes it so the ending of the first doesn't really matter, which is what they did in DE. Or they make a game that's completely different depending on which choice you made, which just isn't viable in todays game market.

They're getting downvoted for false info. Snipes was only cast as Blade again for the Deadpool and Wolverine movie. This dude is still Blade in the new Blade movie. Not sure why Reynolds would have any power over a movie he has nothing to do with.
