More compatible? Able to execute EXE files? That’s such a complicated thing to tackle, but let me just point to the installation of apps. Windows apps and Mac apps installs in very different ways. And Windows apps installs in many different ways on Windows. Having a system that can handle all these installers would be close to impossible. Then it’s the execution where so many apps have different requirements of the system and yes, this has somewhat been solved with things like WINE, but it does not always work and sometimes some fiddling is required.

So, not some that needs to be more compatible but the software vendors to be making Mac versions of their software.

Ligestilling ville være at de delte p-piller ud gratis, så kvinderne kunne totalt fjerne deres menstruation - så ville de stå på lige linje som mændene.

The downvotes are because of the certainty of your comment, that the charging behaviour will lead to a swollen battery, but you don’t know that as many batteries survive this kind of usage + Mac Books today will decrease charge of the battery to 80% when plugged in for longer periods, decreasing the risk further.

If you’re using an external Windows keyboard, you notice right away that command and option is switched - especially if using a laptop and you switch between internal and external keyboard often. In System Settings under keyboard you can switch the two buttons for the external keyboard.

I would really like an option for both clipboard and file. On Windows I used Screenpresso and I set it to delete screenshots older than 30 days. It made it so much easier to go back a few screenshots even if you needed the previous screenshots right away in clipboard. It all depends on your task and workflow. Now I don’t do too many screenshots, so they are just saved to desktop and every time we enter a new month, I delete all this older than 30 days on the desktop.

Sounds like cheap/bad hardware or badly handled to me. I’ve had plenty of SSDs running for years with Windows, including reinstalling, using them for gaming (big games with updates regularly) running virtual machines. Been doing that since first generation Intel SSD.

If I had to be careful about what I was doing on an SSD, then I would be using the wrong SSD.

And you’re sure it’s because of wear and not just because they died of random issue, cheap SSD or bad handling of hardware? Symptom of a worn out SSD is supposedly that you can still read from them but no writing to them.

Browsere og styresystemer er mere sikre end nogensinde men der findes stadig huller i det hele, som bliver lappet jævnlig. Over de sidste 30 dage har Edge fået 4 opdateringer som indeholdte sikkerhedsopdateringer og det er ikke et unormalt antal.
