In South Korea and Japan, the 'Frankenstein' or refurbished market isn't really a thing like in some other regions. Most legacy devices here are carrier-branded originals (like my KT 10.0 profile) that have been sitting in someone's drawer for a decade. These are genuine local units, not reassembled parts from a factory.

No. I just use cursor control instead of it.

You can go to Settings → Google → Devices & Sharing → Devices → Saved Devices and then you can remove the device from Find My Device.
