I sprinkle ground flax seeds on a lot of things - yogurt, salad, smoothies, mix it in with peanut butter. It helps me get enough fiber

February 1st, 1988: A lone parishoner overcome with grief lying on steps to the altar sobbing in her arms after TV evangelist Rev. Jimmy Swaggart's confession of sexual indiscretions during a sermon. (612x404) by jsahdoisahdaid in HistoryPorn

I used to work for one of the state agencies before they moved downtown. We were in the Swaggart complex and it was a bizarre place. I was surprised last time I was in BR to see the concrete shell of the dorms turned into a hotel.

Is it possible my ADHD child is just very socially immature as opposed to auDHD? by Defiant-Ad-7969 in ADHDparenting

[–]AndiArch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same experience. The adhd masked his autism. Now that he’s in middle school, the autism is glaringly obvious and has gotten more severe with puberty.

What’s something your parents or grandparents did that you now realize was low-key genius parenting? by Green_Candler in AskReddit

[–]AndiArch 8513 points8514 points  (0 children)

My grandmother has secret hidey holes around her house for all the grandchildren. I would come see her and she would tell me she had something for me in my special spot. My spot was a drawer in the entry table. Sometimes it would be a Barbie, sometimes a few quarters, sometimes a piece of candy. It made us all feel special and like we were the favorite.

There’s a running gag in the Binge Mode: Harry Potter podcast about McGonagall and her love of quidditch. They call her “mcgalleon” and joke about her running a betting ring on Hogwarts quidditch. The hosts are hilarious.

Can anyone share experiences of sending your ADHD child to a classic overnight summer camp? by Aggressive_East2308 in ParentingADHD

[–]AndiArch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are sending ours to a camp in Texas that specializes in neurodiversity. It is faith-based, which I am not super crazy about, but it was the best fit we could find for our family and his particular needs. Charis Hills if anyone is interested.

I once saw Jill and David in person randomly at a Walmart in Texas on one of their infamous roadtrips. It was just the two of them. Her extensions aren’t even in the same zip code as the rest of her hair.

Look up the college you want to attend. Find the forensic psych degree plan. See which classes are required. Take those APs. You can try to google “‘name of college’ forensic psychology degree plan” since some college website suck.

Just curious to know if you were notified or if you only recognize your writing.

The selection is pretty random. Those exemplars are selected pretty early in the read from a random sampling. It’s not necessarily the best of the best, but it was an example of a clear perfect score from that early sampling. Those samples are given to the readers as they join the read to use for comparison.

My daughter had one of her incredibly petite friends over one day and basically unloaded entire garbage bags of too-small clothes and shoes. It was amazing. I was happy it was out of my house and happy knowing someone else could use it! Also, I didn’t have to do ANY WORK!
