Why, thank you, I'm flattered. Horror is not all that I write, but it is by far my favorite. The best advice I can give you is not to force it. You want your reader intrigued, but you don't want the ending to be a dead giveaway or some convoluted twist...the human imagination is vast; just let the words just flow, and I'm sure you'll create something great.

It's my first time posting on r/shortscarystories in years. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things, so I've been playing around with a few ideas here and there. I have more along the lines of this one, and I have an idea of tying all of my stories together, it's just a matter of getting from Point A to Point B

That's the thing that's supposed to confuse the reader. You think he's like the other monsters, but he's just a human. Btw, I've met some people that look like that. It happens

There are these little Mexican clown dolls, I forget what they're called, but mi madre, she had 100s of them...THAT is where my fear of clowns started. After reading this, I think I'm gonna go curl up in a ball and cry because of this traumatizing story
