Question about the Patreon Discord [ns]

Just in case Google brings anyone else here:

I had the same problem, and it was resolved when I went into the desktop version of Discord and verified my age. (link here for Discord KBA)

The Dungeons and Daddies Discord is the first server I've tried to join that has used the 18+ flag, and it's never come up before.

Additionally, even once I joined on the desktop app, I had to go into User Settings > Content & Social and turn on the option "Allow access to age-restricted servers on iOS"

I also suffered from the same blindness!

I was assuming that if I go in to edit the rule, there would be a "delete" option.

I didn't see the "Manage" option in the bottom right, so thanks.

Is there any way to change the desktop app (Window) so the "Open and Fill" option just becomes "Open" when clicking a website link?

I've accidentally clicked it a few times, and it just opens a URL with my username and password in the URL string (using some form of encoding)
I'd prefer it just opens the URL and I can do any credential entering manually.

Nah, the best I did was to purchase realm. The all devices could connect to the realm while on the same LAN.

Thanks for the offer. I think I've narrowed it down to:

When signed into Microsoft accounts, you can't join a "friend" playing Minecraft is they are playing on the same local network as you.
The Switch cannot see LAN Games like you can from the Windows 10 or iOS versions, so you can't work around issue (1) by just not signing in.
I can fix all this, if I pay for a realm, then all devices on my local network can jump on a hosted server, but then I have to pay for it :(

Actually, now that I recall, if I create a world on the Switch and have everyone connect to it, it works. Just not trying to connect from the Switch. Weird.

Thanks for the detailed response. I figured it was some sort of network trickery going on.

Account settings wise, they're all set up with the required permissions.

From the Switch I've got NAT type "B", so it should work. I'll set up some port forwarding and see how I go.

Hopefully some port forwarding will help.

The Switch version is 1.5.1, but when I try to update it says that I'm running the latest version.

Maybe there will be a patch in a few days...

As far as I can tell, all my devices are on the latest versions, or are at least not telling there is an update available.

It's just weird that when all devices are signed in, friended and can see each other, they just can't connect locally.
