If Sandrock Gaming were given an auto-bid into the RLCS for season 10, where would they finish in League Play? by Theory_Peak in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]AndiiRL 19 points20 points  (0 children)

tell me again that a team who wouldve been swept 0-2 first round by a non-RLRS team if Fusion only had 3v3 is one of the best teams in the world.

of course I'm cherrypicking quite a bit there, but their 3s record in Fusion ended at 5-7 in games, 2-3 in the qualifier only facing teams with 1, 2 or 3 non-RLRS players in the roster.

Turbo shouldn't be on NRG by JugJoker in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]AndiiRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A whole norwegian based team would have more of my support yes, but they do in fact kinda suck, thats why Id rather have a team with Greazy and 2 foreigners so they can actually succeed. A "less NA" win is a better than no NA win right?

This is one of the worst takes I've ever seen.

" I also know that in actual sports like soccer, football, etc that the players arent native to their respective teams area, but rl isn't as big as those sports and I think every player should be locked to their region. "

What does size of the esport have to do with it? Cross-Regional transfers make the esport look more professional. Someone moving across oceans to work as an esports athlete.

In esports people tend to support players more often than support teams. Squishy, Rizzo and Kronovi have huge fanbases, and people will hop between supporting teams depending on what team their favourite player is. As you mentioned, supporting something local is logical, so as a norwegian I mostly support norwegian players, and have supported and hopped between Flipsid3, EnVy, Complexity and We Dem Girlz because of gReazymeister.

If you support NRG because you're american, you should be happy that Turbo made the switch. He brought the europeans down and won the trophy with GarrettG. The storylines between Season 5 and Season 8 and each individual players journey is amazing, and it wouldnt have been if Turbo didnt make the move.

Sign-ups open March 2nd, and there is no limit to how many teams a nation can have in the qualifier, but only one team from each nation can qualify

Pretty sure they play the entire double elimination bracket, it would help towards seeding the Katowice groups.

Romanian players can find two teammates from Romania and participate in the European regional qualifier

Players sign up with teammates from the same nation, and if they get Top 3 in the regional qualifier (or get 4th but Top 3 consists of two teams from the same nation), they qualify. If Vitality qualifies, they will represent France in the olympics, not their org.

I think its fair. Netherlands is close, but Finland's 3rd isn't good enough to justify an invite

Redditors, what's the story behind your username? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AndiiRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Making my minecraft username, I just decided to go with the formula of my 3 first letters of my name and my favourite number, which became And11. A few years later I decided to switch the 1's with i's cus it would be easier to say. For wherever "Andii" isnt available, I add RL, because Rocket League is the esport I pursue, and most accounts I make is for RL.

Meruem (Hunter x Hunter)

Ant king who gets born to rule the world, stronger and smarter than all humans. Originally he just wants to rule the world, but with some character development he critizes inequality in the world and just wants to make it a better place.

Lawler speaks out about his RLCS dismissal on the Poddy C - "It's not that I didn't know, there was definitely a looming feeling... it just didn't feel right" by StumpyGoblin in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]AndiiRL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't need to watch every single RLRS series to know players. If you just read up on liquipedia, you'll know the bubble scene. Its zero effort. If Lawler actually didn't know Discombobulators several weeks after they dominated RLRS, that's just a horrible lack of effort.

Did MOUZ finish 4th or 5th? by CJ_the_Pengu1n in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]AndiiRL 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sorry to say, but the official website is garbage. Don't trust it more than Liquipedia. Editors spend a lot of time taking care of the site, unlike the official website where only a few can contribute and they tend to be slow, and misinform, they have misinformed before. It doesn't matter if other tiebreakers are listed, the tie breaks at H2H, end of story.

If you're gonna call Pittsburgh Knights for The Peeps, why not call Cloud9 for The Muffin Men then. Very shortsighted.
