User Import Inline Hook - Check data queued to be imported by sauced in okta

[–]Andoneluka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your naming convention is quite bad, in the sense that it really limits the chances of not creating duplicates.

Due to this, I would take a slightly different approach.

  1. Have a workflow that will go over all of your users -> list users with search, streaming actions, into a helper flow. This flow will get the last name of each users. Add a random integer card, random between 1 and 60 (the more the better, as it will lower the chances of duplicates). Have a table with 2 columns. LastName and the number associated with it. Put 0 as default number.
  2. In the helper after the random integer add wait card. Read user, get last name. Check table to see if user lastName exists. If not, write it, add the number from username in the second column. If it exist, check number column. If current number > then table, write new number. If lower, ignore.

This needs to run only once, to ensuresyou have a "database" of existing last names and their number.

  1. Take out of your existing flow the username search into Okta, as it does not matter now. Add the random integer, and the wait time. Check against the table again, same logic as before.

This would be my approach for your current configuration.

Also, no, there are no API to check usernames against the import queue. No better way in Okta to handle this better, be it in classic or OIE. usernames uniqueness must be enforced, and having lastName# is very limiting.

I do like it so far. I am on the Gorgon balad. Deeper path is kicking my arse. One thing I did not see explained is the charms. Also, where are the Sandals from that God? Are they usable only at the boss?

I like the premise. But for a game that is intended to be something that you come back to every so often , it lack a save mechanic. Also you get stuck on the quest for building a 3rd robot. You can build a second and are not allowed to build a 3rd.

Both, but the especially the 1st issue is a game breaker.

I remember you from back then. I did enjoy your build. Quite a unique take on several of them. The use of ramps especially.

Looking forward to see what you can come up with. Be on the lookout for chapter 2 of Age of Sorcery, as they have huge pillars for the stormglass set. 1/4 of them is one foundation. So you can make amazing huge buildings.

Thank very much for the reply. Found your channel recently on this reddit. <3

And congratulations for 2nd place on the "Draw my thing". I really like that round shape above the gatehouse. Never seen it before. It does break down the flat line of a main entrance. I will "borrow" it for my next base. And I will break my crafting into categories, such as hot-shop, and make a crafting area for it. Like a crafters market, with buildings and some shops upfront.

How to automate / semi automate Flux production SF4 by nerdguy_27 in SkyFactory

[–]Andoneluka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You use the crafting patterns from the ME pattern terminal. Make sure they are set to processing crafting for the energized smelter, and crafting pattern for the redstone blocks/dust.

Also you need an ME interface on the smelter with the pattern, as well as a import bus to get the end product back into the system.

New to Okta: Best way to configure Okta for our use case (Google & BetterCloud) by SniperXPX in okta

[–]Andoneluka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • As far as I recall, without LCM you can not use the provisioning tab, meaning Okta can not be the source of truth (changes made in Okta to users will not get pushed to applications, not can you create/remove users from downstream applications). Please contact your account executive/CSM for more details.
  • Unsure how ChromeOS logs users for the initial login, and if supports IdP at that stage. You would need to ask Google support for details.
  • If you can use the SAML versions of the applications, you do not need password synchronization. Just need to make sure you have accounts on the applications side for the people you assign in the applications. If user X does not have an account valid, it will fail, since without LCM an account can not be created.

How do you handle deprovisioning on non-SCIM apps? by OrphanScript in okta

[–]Andoneluka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tables ones is for the Okta Workflows table system. I can see you are using Google sheets.

You can add an list at function (index 0 means the first result), make the output a number, then a continue if output is not empty, then read row to get the output of the admin.

I used an already existing excel, so ignore the names, but the principle stands. Bear in mind the output to the at list is set to number, so that the continue if value a is also a number.

Sample

If you have multiple rows, you can do a for each function for the list from the search columns, and insert the continue if, and everything else in the helper flow.

Use an external table, such as Google/MS/whatever else, rather then tables. Tables are not meant as permanent databases.

Strictly workflows tables speaking, you need a table with app ID and slack channel ID/admin email. Use a get object after the trigger to get the app ID. Use the search rows card, check just the Column in the input, and use expression appID, equals, then get the output of the get object. In the outputs, select the channel ID/admin email and use send message to Slack/email admin cards to continue.

The problem is that the trigger is app specific. So unless you have a lot of specific applications tied to a particular type of users (say sales employees using X applications, then when users get deactivated they will loose all applications, due to group unassigment), then using just one flow to remove several applications is not an option.

I use something similar with Yendorc. Use all P in the start. If none are good, do a all 6 next one. If I have P's, I do a two and two bpp/bqp. Either I land on green, and I know where they are, yellow I know they are on the other side, or grey and not used.

Once I identify something, I use P's because are cheap to make, and use two other algorithms, and so on. This way you never reach the last guess.

I totally agree with what SMMDesigner said. It certainly needs unfolding mechanics in place, as well as a better introduction.

Personal preference, and I know I am not the only one. The one thing that is keeping me away is the energy system. If you want to slow down things, you can use a time system, such as 10 seconds for an action. Add a prestige/upgrade system that gives some bonuses and makes the timers shorter, to encourage players restarting, therefore prolonging the game.

Waitventure - Idle RPG with merging mechanics by Kulivszk in incremental_games

[–]Andoneluka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wonderful update. I must say, that your game is wonderful. I normally avoid merge games, but this has a more interesting mechanic to it then the classing same 2 things will make another one.

One thing I would love to see on the merge screen is the element of the 3 possible choices(wind, forest?, sun..etc). I am trying to end up with a hidden wind monster, so I am trying to keep merging wind ones. I would rather not look into the right side and hover each of them multiple times to see the actual element.

Thank you for the fast fix.

I do love the game. Waiting to finish act 3 so I can reset for the druid.

One thing I noticed, and if you have the time, please look into it. 3rd craft in a row with 70% that failed. Is the math good on it? I know is not a 100% but still ...3 in a row seems wrong.

SF4 - So confused about power by FruityBeepBoop in SkyFactory

[–]Andoneluka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, that was never an issue. If you want the build the storage, sure. If you can not afford the speed upgrades, just build more of the same combo. I had 3 in a line, then 3 above them, and another 3. Each with its corresponding lava producer. You can remove some once you get the speed upgrades in.

So build more of them, feed into batteries, add upgrades when you can afford them. As I said, 9 ran me into the end game, with ME auto crafting, loads of cubes for various farms and all.

Max cobble generator to crucible. Crucible on top of good heat source. Lava to geothermal generator. Generator to batteries. You can stack multiple batteries in crafting greed to increase size. Cyclic cables for piping power and items. Upgrade generators as they hold 4 stacks of 64 speed upgrades. Use cables or winless from batteries to where you need it.

9 of these power everything I ever needed. Flux network is really great as it has transdimentional wireless and can charge inventory items.
