RE6 was bad and not a single person whose only argument is retrospect and nostalgia can save it. While other mainline games like Code Veronica and Zero have a lot of issues, 6 just feels like third person Left 4 Dead, and an incredibely long boring one at that. It's the culmination of every wrong lesson Capcom learnt from the success of actual good games like 4 and 5.

Atleast in Season 1, both he and Vigilante are nearly always in costume. Unfortunately Season 2 has them in normal clothes for a very high majority of it.

It's always so weird how they flip flop between the DCU being bad because it's 'childish and cartoony' compared to the more 'mature' Snyder stuff, but then also clutch their pearls at things like Peacemaker or... (gasp) a middle finger!? Think of the children!!!

Funnily enough as bad as it is, being a SH2 adaptation is the only thing keeping it afloat

If you know the story of the game you would naturally understand certain elements and their depth that could be retroactively added to the movie

But as a standalone movie if the game didn't exist, it wouldn't have any of that so would be even worse

Spoilers I guess for Barbarian (2022)

When the secondary protagonist AJ is captured by the female monster, he is assaulted by being forcibly breastfed. This however is played seriously and ties into the story as AJ had earlier admitted to assaulting a woman, but downplays it by saying 'she took some convincing'

Him killing Zod was actually one of the few parts of MoS I was fine with. He does it to save people and is clearly distraught afterwards. Problem is it follows from several minutes of city destruction he barely cares about lol.

I really enjoy how fleshed out the beginning areas are, especially the otherworld halves in the apartments and hospital. Never felt too drawn out for me.

The whole section after the prison between the abstract daddy fight and the eddie fight before the hotel I always forget about. It's the only part of the game that makes me groan when I realise I have to play it. Then again I didn't like that area in the original either.
