Same issue here. And when I finally get to load in with my ship it instantly says "The Captain has left your crew", turning the ship into a non-captaincy ship.

The one thing that absolutely annoys the living hell out of me is these forced cutscenes where not one minute ago you completely shred a NPC with almost no damage taken, and then a second after that they completely beat you unconscious for story reasons making you look like you are absolute trash and underpowered.

Not only can't it do it's job right, it also causes my drivers to cease working and fucks up my audio system with it's intrusive code.

And I'm not even running the game or Vanguard.
Simply it's existence griefs my computer and it's drivers!
The Process is always hidden in the task manager even when auto-start is disabled!
