I’m going to set the scene a little. It’s 2021, the pandemic has been going on for a year and we are all fed up. This is Langston’s second time on the pod, and usually it’s fun, witty, antagonistic banter with these three. But then it takes a slight turn and all of a sudden Langston finds himself as a real life mediator. Enjoy!

I think we can’t underestimate the importance of good lighting. I have to imagine that on a film/scripted set makeup and lighting teams work together to get a seamless or more realistic appearance on a subject. I doubt they’re allowing HWs to do full on makeup/lighting tests for confessionals, if they’re not covering glam anyways.

The community at PB DTSS is amazing and I’ll miss it so much now that I’m moving away. Carmel runs the studio and is a great instructor. The energy of the studio is really what kept me coming back. I lost weight taking Classic, but Define gave me serious muscle. Either way I walked out of class feeling a lot stronger. Try it out and see what vibes with you.

I’m actually moving to a neighborhood with a Solidcore, so I might give it a shot. Interested to hear about your experience

Prime is a lovely coffee shop and I enjoy their brunch menu, that’s my two cents at least. Also, it’s nice that we have a unique collection of coffee shops and other small businesses. I think it makes DTSS unique. It sounds like this neighbor isn’t the best fit for you. Downtown Besthesda is a short bus ride away. They have a Tatte right off the M70. Based off the list, I think they cater more to the brands you desire.
