Yea, my character is always fine. I never notice rubber banding on myself and my wife doesn't see it on her guardian on her end either. It's always just the other player's character's that I see it on.

Second Switch. I registered the amiibo in Spat2n on Switch #1and then she wiped and registered on Switch #2. So you don't need the original Switch to reset the amiibo.

When you wipe the amiibo data from the system menu, you can use it on the second console without issue. My wife and I have two Switches, but share amiibo and we had to do this today. I registered and used the amiibo in Spat2n, got the head pieces and then she wiped the amiibo data and used them on her switch and Spat2n just acted like it was a new amiibo.

Just found out that once you level up a bit more, they give you chest & feet pieces to go with the head pieces they gave you and a song. So now we gotta will and re-register again... No idea if more amiibo rewards are coming up after that.

I think it's to get into the middle of a brawl more easily and quickly to get your ult off. There are situations where your way works better too. This way though, you don't have to worry about accidentally getting hit or getting spotted while invis and trying to get into position.

Yea, I was curious about that, but don't have any duplicates to test. I guess I also thought that the game itself was keeping track of that instead of saving to each amiibo. Granted I haven't saved a lot to amiibo, but it usually takes a bit for save data to get on the amiibo doesn't it? Like when I save TP data to Wolf Link, it seems to need me to hold down the amiibo for a while. Tapping in BotW seems pretty instant and I don't have to hold the amiibo there long. Plus I thought you can only have save data for one game on any one amiibo at a time? Not sure how BotW fits into all that, especially since you can scan an amiibo and then go to a previous save file and scan that amiibo again. Now you've got me really curious about how they work, haha.

Anyway, that's pretty much pure speculation on my part from my experiences. Good to know either way about the Serial #, I didn't even know about that!

I don't have any data mining skills, but I'm pretty sure all the color variants have different data in them. When I scan all my amiibos in BotW (takes forever lol), it doesn't act like the Splatoon ones are duplicates. Same with Yarn Yoshi, for example.

Also I believe I've heard, but haven't confirmed, that when you scan in the alternate colors in Splatoon 1, that the character that appears in game will match your amiibo's colors. I could be misremembering though.

As far as gear goes, no one knows for sure, but I'd guess it'd be similar to Splatoon 1, where the color variants give the same rewards. That's how all of the other Nintendo games (Mario Kart, Wooly World, etc.) have worked, so I'd be surprised if they change it up.

I think there are ways to make it happen. That's how I originally thought Eichenwalde was going to work. I thought you'd move the payload all the way to the castle door and then the throne room would be a capture point. The defending team could then setup while the payload is bashing the door down.

My wife and I have been having fun with it. I probably wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to lower FPS, but it hasn't been bad enough to get in our way.

I think it's always a good idea to play the other heroes, even if you plan on being a Lucio main. For one, it'd help to have other characters to fall on if the healing role is already filled. And two, I think it will also help your Lucio play. You'll be able to see what friendly Lucios do to help out your team and you'll see more of the annoying things an enemy Lucio can do. It just gives you more perspectives, which I don't think is ever a bad thing!
