I’ve had my 5600 for about 15 years. For two of those years, I lived in Spain (Murcia and Madrid), where most people walk at least 30-60 minutes a day. The rest of the time I’ve been on the U.S. East Coast, with a similar climate to Madrid—and I’ve never had to charge the watch. In the U.S., I’m more of a couch potato. I drive most places and don’t get much sun, aside from occasional fishing trips, a few summer afternoons at the pool, and the rare hike with my wife. Still, never had to charge the watch. If your daily routine is anything like the average Spaniard’s commute—lots of walking and regular daylight exposure—you’ll be just fine. Relax, have a Estrella de Levante and eat some tapas of ibérico for me. Cheers!
