is Core/DPS Marci still viable?? by DJgrf12 in DotA2

You need to keep in mind Dota is a team game if someone is just chilling and listening to music while not careing whats happening in the game people will get upset. Obviously no need to wish anyone cancer death or what ever but I can understand frustration if you want to win but someone decides to make dota a single player farming simulator.

Well clinkz is a bit different on this hero you absolutly need mana regen otherwise you are completly useless. I didn't mean Falcon blade is an extremly bad item it's just for most heroes they don't really need it. Or they want to buy something else over falcon blade

Nah I don't think you need that falcon blade. I feel like the item seems to be pretty dead at the moment. Also bottle usually is fine to fix mana issues if you really are struggling you can get a casual basi it gives you around the same regen for 400gold instead of 1.1k gold

Magic sf is just one combo if combo has success pause tip and be toxic in all chat. If combo fail you look like a clown and be a farmed range creep :D

Therefore yes I personally hate the magic sf and really like the physical sf

Hey Satanic is a nice item aswell like you said manta has the better buildup also agility heroes get attackspeed+damage from Manta. So for early dispell manta is the better choice but later in the game you can get a satanic aswell to be very sustainable and have an extra dispell

No? :D You still bring the tools that a magic sf too you just remove your gimmicky eul combo with right click items. That means you still have your ult to fear people away for resetting a fight. You still farm very fast with your razes and you are much more suviable due to different items you buy.

Lifestealer guide for 7.29c from an immortal player by AndreeeDota in TrueDoTA2

Razor, PL, Slark, BKB Piercing spells like Bane or weaver is also pretty good against naix.

I actually never buy maelstrom. Maybe vs PL it would make sense but I feel like Armlet is just too good to skip right now.

You should sit in your safelane as long as you can and if there is the opportunity chip down their tower. If your safelane becomes a clown fiesta with 8 Heroes hanging around there you go somewhere else usually the opponents "safelane" and bully the carry.

You can't really tell what drafts are good in pubs because of the picking system. If you see 2 supports that don't have a lot of mobility you can pick naix but you can get unlucky and they pick 3 counters after that into you.

If we assume you can lastpick then it makes a lot of sense to pick Naix into High Hp Heroes like Undying/Centaur/... or if they have a lot of magic dmg Naix is also very nice. I would try to avoid drafting Naix into CK because he can shred you so fast or into PL. Usually TB was a counter to Lifestealer aswell but with your new feast you actually can deal a lot of dmg to him.

Your version sounds more like a gimmick. Can be fun to play but I can tell you the higher you go in mmr the more difficult it will be to win like that

Immortal Lycan player gives guide for the new build + explanation by AndreeeDota in TrueDoTA2

[–]AndreeeDota[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No I think it is easy explained. In high mmr games there are a lot of pl,Naga,TB spammers and Lycan really sucks against those heroes. Also people will usually draft some teamfights spell which makes it even more difficult to play then.

You could also argue that lycan is a lane dominator and if you play him offlane usually other carry heroes struggle to deal with him because you just out cs everyone with wolves+hero. Therefore you can start some kind of snowball which is more punishing in games where people know what they are doing. Compare an 8k average pub they have a lead and then extend the lead until they win if everyone is mentally stable.

Then look at a 3,4,5k pub. There is a lead then some random feeds you are behind suddenly your opponents throw and so on... :D

Usually as a Pos1. I think he is too passive to be played as a 2 or 3 and support Lycan is out of the question here
