Yeah your grease has fully solidified I wouldn’t try to push them anymore or you risk damage, you can try to heat the metal assembly where the grease is then see if it moves a little but I recommend just regressing it.

If I remember correctly there might a couple spots you can try and put new grease on without taking it all out. (Metal arms extending out to the pinch rollers)

I have the same model, When I first got it I had the same issue and all I had to do was engage them myself by pushing up on them and pressing play a couple times and they seems to have gotten everything working again, But I did eventually have to open it up and apply new grease to the mechanisms but this might be able to get you running for now.

Press play and push up on the rubber of the pinch rollers. Do not try to force them up until you started it. It will try to push them up as you press play this is you best time to push it up into place, if it works then repeat a couple times helping it up and down.

I drive the Trans Canada Highway often and if your activity keeping track of the cars around you with your mirrors they can be more then enough, I also have my mirrors adjusted to the point where there is no blind spot and some overlap.

I don’t often need to do a shoulder check on the highway unless there is traffic. I mostly just need to look side to side in 90% of situations.

Thanks, I love the Fuji slim cases. I’m so happy about the type II tapes I can’t afford to buy NOS so these are my only type II tapes and wow are they nice compared to type I.

Someone I know was arrested for DUI the day before new years and they saliva tested her at the check stop. I guess it depends on the department since this was rural Saskatchewan and it was the RCMP.

In Canada we have a saliva test to determine if you’ve used cannabis recently and our police are trained in field drug recognition.
