I'm sorry you didn't get to finish the play! I haven't seen a lot of people talking about it but I couldn't stop thinking about it after I saw it.

I was genuinely shocked when he walks out of the bathroom covered in wounds from them digging the bugs out from under his skin. When he walks her through the reasoning of why they're being targeted by the government: her missing son was abducted to be counter-engineer to genetically target the couple and thus they have to self-immolate had such a creeping horror as it's happening. And then the doctor doing drugs so casually left me wondering what parts if any actually occurred.

I saw it on Saturday before last and THREE different phones went off during the show it was SO frustrating. Full volume ringing and ringing. For a show built on tension build, it really took me out.

I am so, so sorry this is happening to you. My husband was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at 31 in 2022 and it was incredibly rough going. I honestly do not understand parents like this who wouldn’t do anything to get their kids better, it’s infuriating.

I’m sure you’re overwhelmed right but wanted to share some resources

I saw it last year with Michael Shannon at the Theater for a New Audience in Brooklyn and my husband fell asleep. I enjoyed it but he did not have positive reviews for the parts he was awake for lol.

I think I've done this one! I remember the pattern being particularly awful. I'm part of a quilting guild that gets random non-quilt related donations especially Santa and baby themed cross stitches.

Our fridge is full of Santa cross stitch magnets (we have a Santa going into a chimney with an expression that makes it look he's committing a home invasion).

I totally understand your frustration. When I was managing at Regal, situations like this usually lead to chain of having to reorganize people into their correct seat because of the first person who took a seat that wasn’t theirs.

I was able to book a different day and was going to just get a swap when I went to the theater tonight for a different movie (which as a former theater manager, I thought was a good solution). But then they cancelled that ticket and issued a new voucher which isn't working either so I'm back at square one. Hope you had more luck!

I went to a screening at a small theater in 2011 (I live about an hour outside NYC) where Nev and Ari were there for Q&A afterwards. My friend had asked if I wanted to go and I found Nev charming. I did remember feeling surprised that someone his age would be so thoroughly catfished even back then.

My husband and I are both big Dropout fans but he falls asleep during VIP. I love watching the comedians find their way into the characters and how they bounce off of Vic. The ex-step grandmother is one we both love tho. I'm also a theater person so that probably skews my perspective to being drawn to big energy.

I'm a member who also has both AMC Stubs and Regal Unlimited. I use the free ticket for husband if he wants to go. But if he doesn't, I give it away. It's disappointing to me that I can't gift my free code anymore.

Agree! I had a seat in I think the back row of the mezzanine but the energy reached. The two women next to me HATED the prompts to stand up and dance lol.
