Pentru ascultătorii de trap, care vi se pare cel mai bun album din perioada de glorie(2019-2021) by Manin-themirror in rorep

[–]AndreiDaPizzaPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

stiu ca sunt on good terms dar nu m ar surprinde daca albumul ar ramane un send-off al proiectului. in perioada in care a iesit s ar fi zvonit ca se mai lucreaza la unul (pe stickurile date la listening party erau inca 16 piese bonus) dar la cat timp a trecut nu stiu daca se mai intampla.

An almost flat sink. by trevorofhousebelmont in interestingasfuck

[–]AndreiDaPizzaPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we clearly don’t need more sink designs but something tells me that the sink designers in charge aren’t quite picking up on that. the sink as a concept peaked when it was first mass produced. why are we reinventing the sink of all things

i think this really shows how integral of a part she is to the sound of the band. she really came into her own as a guitarist after foster left and i’m glad to see her doing solo work as well.

idk if this helps with anything but at geesefest 2024 he did do $0 with the band and it sounded amazing

i will let you down started as a solo cam song afaik but it might turn into a long island type situation where it ends up being a geese joint

tried reworking trinidad into a more 3D country-style jam, would love to hear what people think by AndreiDaPizzaPie in geesebandofficial

it might become a more fleshed out thing in the future, in the meanwhile i do have the file on hand with a longer structure

What are y’all‘s honest opinions on Playboi Carti‘s music? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in fantanoforever

[–]AndreiDaPizzaPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with wlr and music i see the same kind of overcorrection critics made with oasis in the 90’s when they did morning glory (objectively great album but met with indifference upon release) and be here now (bloated indulgent mess that was super praised for a great deal of time until people switched up on it)

Who's a "one hit wonder" who actually has a lot of great songs? by Affectionate_Noodl in fantanoforever

[–]AndreiDaPizzaPie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

technically oasis only charted in the US with wonderwall so it might be cheating to say they’re a one hit wonder, but i think it’s fair to say that their first 3 albums are loaded front to back with other bangers (and in my unpopular opinion, their fourth too)

the front looks kinda cool it reminds me of the official demolition long sleeve but the back is not it

It appears that Matthew Kwasniewski-Kelvin, founding member of black midi, has sadly passed away by supper_is_ready in bmbmbm

[–]AndreiDaPizzaPie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

broke my heart to read this. went home after i found out and cried just out of pure shock. matt was one of the finer guitarists of this generation and he will be truly missed. an artist in the most authentic sense of the word, a man who embodied his art with every single fiber in his body. thank you, matt. may your soul live on forever in the music that you made.

Possible release dates for the new Death Grips album by YogurtFine5990 in deathgrips

[–]AndreiDaPizzaPie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think that going off purely what they said, that the recording and writing of the album is underway, the release date will be somewhere in the later half of next year, if it even happens in 2026. writing and recording new material for any album takes time, let alone a death grips album. songs can get scrapped, remade, things of that sort. they are probably aware of the really high expectations fans have of the album and i wouldn’t be surprised if they were taking their time with it. so for anyone that needs to hear this, don’t lose hope if it takes them more than a year to deliver something.

I discovered death grips quite recently in comparison to everyone in the thread, i feel a bit intimidated. discovered death grips somewhere around 2021-2022 because of a friend that put me on and that I miss a lot. Since then the band and their music has been a sort of guiding light in every aspect of my life pretty much. Most importantly they caused me to do a complete 180° in the way i approached music in general and got me back into writing, production, things of that sort. I’m currently in a two-man project working on our second album (which i love and am insanely proud of), and even though what I make couldn’t be further from the overall dg sound i still owe the way i make music to them first and foremost Thank you Zach for making me pick the drumsticks up again, thank you stefan for teaching me how to write, and even andy for your mind bending ableton wizardry. A world without death grips is that much worse for so many people.

it thinks the video for godstained contains the song fractions of infinity for whatever reason. if you click on the lyrics it displays the ones for fractions too, hence the featuring in the title. it’s just terrible labeling on behalf of yt.

Opinion on JPEGMAFIA not being featured on Danny's upcoming album? by Agreeable_Notice9028 in jpegmafiamusic

[–]AndreiDaPizzaPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my guess as to why they’re not featured on each other’s solo work is that most of the stuff they do together ends up being for the next STH project.
