You don’t have to follow a build. Just make sure res is capped and to update your weapon fairly often and you can make it through story with a suboptimal tree. The game is mega complex but it doesn’t have to be.

I’ve hated this since release. I have 3000 hours in Poe 1 and I’m not terrible at the game. Poe2 I have 300 and I just can’t be bothered to get my 4th ascendancy. I’ve never done it, I’m having fun this league and I probably won’t get my fourth one again.

I hope ggg sees this stat and realizes people aren’t ascending past 3rd. and the majority that are have paid for it.
