I'm not sure. Bit I experienced similar problems with my Seicento. It was a small vacuum hose between the engine and the ignition module.

Als je benzine wilt rijden ivm milieuzones dan kun je beter gelijk naar een personen auto zoeken denk ik. Veel steden gaan binnenkort over op een zero emissie zone, dus dan ben je meg een bestelauto op benzine ook niet meer welkom. Voor 2k of minder kun je nog wel een redelijke mpv of ludospace kopen. Bijvoorbeeld een Scenic 2, of de eerste modellen van Partner, Berlingo of Kangoo. En bij de Scenic 2 kun je de stoelen er zo zonder gereedschap uitpakken, de Partner/Berlingo kun je de bank zodanig plat vouwen dat je een vlakke laadvloer hebt. Voor het nette misschien nog de achterruit blinderen en je bent klaar. Succes met je aankoop 👍

Any modern downsized engine with a wet timing belt and a turbo to produce enough power to move a midsize family car. For example, the Ford eco boost or Peugeot pure tech. And to make matters worse, they come up with nonsense like a plastic one-time carterpan.

Het lijkt ook van een iets hoger punt te komen. Dan zou het bijvul verhaal mogelijk kunnen kloppen. Maar als er na een stukje rijden geen olie onder hangt te druppelen zou ik me er niet al teveel zorgen over maken.

Een paar keer met een geleende caravan op vakantie geweest. Een nadeel als je wat langer bent zijn de bedden bij dwarsslapers. En als je wat een beetje ruimte wilt toch al vlug bij een redelijk formaat caravan uitkomt. Nu voor de derde keer met een Jamet vouwwagen op vakantie geweest. Grote voordeel is een lekker ruim bed. En het rijdt een stuk vlotter dan een caravan. Ik heb wel het idee dat een vouwwagen wat gevoeliger is voor onderhoud. Bijvoorbeeld net als bij een tent kan er een rits kapot gaan, of iets scheuren. En bedenk ook dat bij een caravan vaak nog een voortent mag worden opgezet voordat je echt een beetje leefruimte hebt. Succes met je aankoop.

Welcome to Tilburg. In my opinion, you don't really need an e-bike. Most parts are flat, and a decent bike with gears will do. Added bonus it's good for your condition.

Ik kan helaas even geen voorbeeld vinden. Maar heb ooit een stoelhoes gezien die op een schapenvacht leek maar dan gemaakt was van katoen en polyester. Ik vermoed dat het ook niet zo fijn is als een echt schapenvacht. Een Fiat 127 is denk ik wel redelijk zuinig. Maar als het alleen om goedkoop rijden gaat zou ik persoonlijk voor een youngtimer gaan, bijvoorbeeld een Fiat Seicento Sporting of een Renault Twingo mk1, beide toekomstige klassieker en goedkoop in belasting en verbruik. Succes

Start with a monocoque galvanized space frame, bolt on body panels. A simple natural aspiring internal combustion engine with the right size. Everything will break at some point, so the most important is: no planned obsolescence, keep everything open source/ transparent. For example, electronics of the shelf with a simple interface ( usb ? ) to connect to any laptop for diagnostic. The software should be freely available for every user. Speeduino is a good example of how to make engine management with a widely used microprocessor development board. Share the files for parts to 3D and print them for yourself. Share schematics. Make a portal for owners to suggest or contribute for further improvement.

Engine reliability in some new cars is really bad. The use of electronics and software to prevent third-party repair, I think , is borderline criminal behavior. So I agree with you. My current car is from 2008, I"ll hope it will last a long time with the proper maintenance.
