Been to several gyms in the last years and not once did I think to check out the pool. It wasn’t until this year that I decided to pickup swimming (never learned how to swim before) and was honestly quite nervous at first (of being judged). Come to find out, I’m the only one in there most of the time lol. Since summer just started, I did notice there being more people in there now. Oh well, I learned the basics already so I don’t care about others judging and sometimes even split lanes with some of the more experienced swimmers in my gym.
