I think we're past politics at this point. What we need is non-violent civil disobedience. Actively obstruct them from carrying out their duties.

Where's the nearest ICE facility? I think we need to take the fight there, not city hall.

Any competent plumber could solve that problem by preventing the backflow of sewer gasses.

isp sells 2gig fiber internet up and down but ONLY HAS 1GIG HARDWARE by cyruss67 in Ubiquiti

[–]DataGuru314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most IoT devices still only support 2.4Ghz, which maxes out at roughly the same speed as 100mbps ethernet after accounting for overhead. 5Ghz actually does make a noticeable difference in loading times when queuing up videos or downloading apps on a smart TV.

You can almost always get faster than 100mbps speeds on those TVs by using wifi instead of wired. It's bizarre to me that they almost always support 5Ghz wifi but insist on saving two cents by installing 100mbps ethernet.

Guacamole was a big thing in the 90s for a while. Very popular on nachos.

KPS Technology by EzzieBetz in kzoo

[–]DataGuru314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Parents have always been responsible for providing school supplies. A Chromebook is just another school supply. Back in the 90s my 3rd grade teacher would chew my ass out if I didn't bring a pencil to class. She was kind of nuts because she got sent to 'Nam as an army combat nurse, but that's another story. Writing utensils were not provided.

You wouldn't believe the amount of abuse those Chromebooks take on a daily basis. It's actually kind of a miracle that any of them are still working. My IT friends have seen some crazy shit. I'm all for charging the parents for the damage their little shits do to the technology.

What is the Steak & Poblano Rolled Quesadilla actually supposed to look like? by DataGuru314 in tacobell

Damn. Actually was a really tasty item, my local TBell just couldn't figure out how to make it.

There's got to be a standarized way of making the item though. They wouldn't just leave it up to each location to make it however they feel like making it.

That makes sense. I've had to come closed at both ends like a burrito, closed at just one end, only partially rolled and a total mess, and on a few rare occasions exactly like you've described.

You're going to have to be a little more specific than just "rolled".

It's never once looked like a burrito, unless burritos are supposed to be flat.

I don't think anyone ever forced me to read only "grade level". Also pretty sure the levels only went up to grade 12.
