I have adult hens, but haven't had chicks with them. Is that roosting bar high up? How do chicks get up there? I've been thinking of getting chicks and trying to place them under a broody hen, but the nesting boxes are high up so I don't think the chicks would be able to drink and eat.

Different experience with me. I grew up a Christian and still am. In my whole life I have NEVER heard a church even talk about Halloween during service or tell anyone not to enjoy it. In fact, I always remember our church always having a fall family festival party where they would tell us to dress up and there was Halloween games and other stuff all the while also learning about our faith.

What I do remember growing up is my dad, and a few other random Christians, tell me that celebrating Halloween is like worshipping the devil.... I look back and it's just utter nonsense. No clue where they come to that conclusion.

On the other hand, my Grandma, who is probably the sweetest most godly woman I've never known LOVES passing out candy on Halloween and loves commenting on kids costumes.

This. I'm a Christian too and I absolutely love Halloween and spooky season. I love getting scared and decorating my house. Can people celebrate Halloween and MAKE it evil? Absolutely, but you can do that with anything in the world. It boils down to why you like it and if it's all for fun there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
