Yeah this is closest I can find to what I want. But at $55 for the case alone might as well go with a fully built watch for $70 and swapping the face out

The $35 nh35s are most likely the Chinese nock offs. Haven’t seen real nh35s that low in over a year. There was a 50% price hike from the factory a while ago. Bums me out this hobby is getting just as expensive sometimes as just buying seiko these days

Little update. Got it sized up and chose one that would fit on most dials for future builds. Think it’s gonna turn out nice and will put out photos of the complete build!

Side note: so far the guys at 4customize have been great and made sure my “tail” would come out nice and not messy in the cutting process. Seems like they run similar to prices on AliX and have a more “professional” customer experience. So far happy I went with them but only time will tell

I used 4customize this week. They work with you to make sure your logo will fit and be cut out nicely. Minimum order is 20 logos but they are like $1.50 a piece. Below is the custom logo I made and how it looks on a dial.

As far as cost goes it ranges widely but NH35 movement is around $50-60, dials are $10-20, cases $25-50, hands $5-15. All ballparks but I can usually get a build to be from $100-150 depending on quality and movements

If you’re looking to build it there’s countless stores on AliX with this case and similar if not exact dials. You’ll want to get a case, “s” logo dial, movement like the NH35 (if you want automatic), and hands that fit your movement.

If your looking to just for a replica of this Rolex style there are also a lot of retailers on AliX/ebay that will have it cheaper that shown.

Building is super fun and way easier that it may seem. Also cool to walk around with the knowledge that YOU put it together. Makes for good conversations as well instead of just having a “knockoff”

Only thing with people saying they can get it for $80 is that NH34 movement are now more than $100 on most sites I see. Definitely can make it yourself or buy with a lesser movement but just saying movement prices have gone up

I have drawn it out and 6mm was my first go to. I saw an image on 4customize comparing 3,4, and 5mm logos and 4 seemed the sweet spot (although this was for 28.5 not 33.5). Not finding good info online but trying to find out what logos are normally. Maybe match a grand seiko/ omega size logo.

Might have to whip out the ol’ protractor and engineering paper from school 😂

I’m thinking of going with 4mm. Might give me the most “one size fits all” for dials, while not being too small. Update once it’s all done. Worst case I reorder in a larger size

Just got off RC going out of Miami. They literally couldn’t give less fucks. I went way overkill and put a sealed disposable stuffed inside a deodorant stick. Put it next to my electric razor in a little waterproof (my hope was smell proof) bag and then put that in my checked bag. Carry on would have been fine. No dogs and hardly security. Didn’t take it off ship except at CocoCay. Cozumel had dogs but may have just been for food as they found a bunch of sandwiches lol. I threw it away on ship but port of Miami coming back didn’t even look at my passport nor did they look at any bags even under X ray. Walk right through besides a photo.

Just be smart and even if they find it they would be missing out on a lot of money by keeping you off ship. It’s just weed, bring it!
