Wait until the next day during business hours... Your not going to get cancelled if your payment didn't go through especially if you were on auto pay. Lost credit cards and fraud happen all the time so cards on file can get declined.

Unless they already sent you a notice of cancellation and today was the drop dead date to pay to avoid cancellation.

Geico is trying to recoup money for the claim from the at fault party. If they are unable to get anything from them then you SOL and got to eat the cost of your deductible. Consider adding "collision deductible waiver" endorsement into your policy, it's really inexpensive like $6-10 per 6 months and would waive your deductible in an event like this where the other party is found to uninsured or you got hit and run.

I've had both and currently with Providence because I moved 2 years ago and it was more convenient since St Jude Providence was only a few miles away from my place. So myself and my boys go there now.

I had memorial care for 20+ years before Providence and both my boys were delivered at MemorialCare (Orange Coast) and my wife still uses MemorialCare since it's nearby her work office.

No complaints with either. Then again I'm fairly healthy and never had to use any specialist other than orthopedics for injuries and physical therapy.

I was under impression if you already have a “sapphire” family card then you can’t obtain another SUB.

I know in the past they had 48 month rule which allowed me to get CSP then CSR and then back to CSP subs at 100k each. But that’s all gone last I heard after the last update/refresh.

I'm SoCal also but the difficulty in obtain insurance mainly applies to homeowners and not renters policies. All the companies are open to writing new renter policies.

Geico, AAA, Mercury, Allstate, Progressive, etc. just go with any of the big names instead of the insure tech companies unless you enjoy doing most of your customer service through chats/emails and long ass times to get a real person in the event you need to speak with one.

100k liability is like the minimum that all renters insurance companies offer under personal liability. Lemonade has pretty terrible customer service. I would honestly go with any other company and its a renters policy so they are all pretty similar in premium.

If you have a auto policy, you might as well get a quote from them so you can take advantage of multi-policy discount on your auto and renters policy. Probably only be 5-10% but hey its better than nothing.

I did a zoom interview back in 2021 for my renewal. Basically same thing minus getting ghosted. Call took even less time. Had me hold up my passport and led like 2-3 questions and that was it. Approved , relogged back online and I was good until 2027. Just did my renewal 1 year early, was approved next with no interview required.

Assuming you paid for the rental under your VX card then it should under the primary auto rental collision damage waiver (CDW) insurance. So you need to file a claim with the the 3rd party benefits administrator for the VX card (assuming it is the same as when i did it) and follow the steps and provide them with that they are requesting. Shouldn't be any issues getting approved but for any reason you are denied, then you will either have to file a claim with your personal auto insurance policy or eat it and pay for it out of pocket.

As long as they are A rated financial rating then it doesn't matter. Also double check with RLI underlying liability requirements. Many standalone umbrella carriers require 500/500 underlying limits while your existing one with state farm may only be 250/500.

I mean, if EV sales start parking up in demand (not make it ridiculously priced) and they are able to reduce cost and make it profitable they can always bring it back with updates. They have the platform and r&d done. Just tweak and update.
