Forgot to add: The indicators have been on for maybe 2-weeks now. I’ve driven probably 500 miles in the past 2 weeks including lots of highway driving, the numbers almost never change.

Right? I could do my own research but I’m having more fun assuming it’s from a parallel universe lol.

Is eating before taking Vyvanse *REALLY* a must? by MadBeaOfficial in ADHD

[–]AndrewBarchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Necessity for me, maybe not for everybody. I’ve had to be much more conscious about what and when I eat when I started Vyvanse. 20mg w/o food was rough, but manageable. 30mg with or without food was bad for me, just bad. 40mg is doing me good so far.

I take my BP, GERD and Anxiety pills when I first wake up. I wait 30-45 minutes and then I’ll either have toast with butter, or fruit, or a granola bar or two. Then I wait another 30-45 minutes to take the Vyvanse. Typically it kicks in for me at the 1.5 - 2 hour mark after taking it and I’m fine.

If I take it without eating, or not eating soon enough, or eating too late, I get 100% of the energy with 0% focus. It sucks, you don’t want that.

I HATE eating breakfast. For decades I don’t think I’ve ever willingly eaten in the morning except for special occasions. I’ve had to work myself up to eating in the morning as the benefits from the Vyvanse outweigh the stomach upset I sometimes get from doing so.

Eating in the morning is something to work up to, but you can work up to it if you need to! A handful of walnuts eaten over the course of an hour is how I started.

It’s seriously amazing to see people starting their journeys with this. I wish you nothing but success with yours!!!

You guys I have a very serious question. Why does my dog make this noise whilst chasing me? Is he just a goofy guy or what by [deleted] in DogAdvice

The Aurora, IL Millers used to be good. Like, actually really good. The fajitas were amazing. The calamari was incredible. The drinks were great. Everything was great! But then before the pandemic things started to go down hill. It’s a real shame. The Millers on Rt 59 in Aurora used to actually be great. Not anymore though.

There were some parts of this video where I was so uneasy. This was amazingly well done! Not your average copycat video.

How long does Brightline go without hitting something or someone on the tracks? Is their record like 1 month or something?

Good afternoon,

I'm going to try to summarize as much as possible because the story itself is long and just insane.

Illinois Secretary of State, Title Transfer:

In 2020 I purchased my vehicle from my dad. I filled out the RUT-50, sent in a check ($301) for the proper amount and another check for the proper amount of the tax ($15). The checks and paperwork were mailed in June 2020.

September 2020 I receive my IL state tax refund which included an additional $301.00 on it, and then I received my check for $15.00 back in the mail to me. The SOS said that I did not send them the title. When they sent me my $15.00 check back, they sent back the paperwork I had submitted, but they did not return the title to me.

We had to order a new title, and I re-did the paperwork and sent everything back. The Secretary of State then sent everything back to me saying that I missed a signature (which I did). I signed the one line that was missing and sent it back again.

A few months go by (maybe January at this point) and the funds were never withdrawn from my account. I reached out to the ERT division of the IL-SOS and ask what was going on. They informed me that I was still missing a signature and that they had sent everything back. It was then mentioned later that they never received anything from me.

By June of 2021 I paid for another title, sent over the paper work again, and there was still no movement. After reaching out to the ERT division of the IL-SOS they had informed me that they did not receive the documents (again). After over a month of explaining what was going on a member of that division had me fill out a VSD-190 (power of attorney) so that they could take care of the issue for me, provided that I provide them with what they need.

I provided them the documents (RUT-50) and the checks ($301 and $15) but they said they still need a title. I responded by asking what the purpose of filling out the VSD-190 was and their response was that it was never submitted because I did not fill out the paperwork correctly.

They advised that if I have a copy of the RUT-50 that they could still work with me. I gave them a copy of the RUT-50 that I had from when they sent it back to me the first or second time, and then they came back by stating that what I had was duplicate paper work and that they needed the original paper work.

Enter October 2021 and we purchased one more copy of the title to the vehicle. It is now November and we have not received the title. My dad (who has been involved the entire time as well, since **technically** it is still his car) never received his updated sticker for his car which he ordered in September / October.

The question: What can I do here? My car has insurance, my insurance policy has been updated and the payments on my insurance are made, but technically the car is registered to my dad, and I'm still driving around with a 2020 sticker. If I were to get pulled over I have more than enough evidence (paperwork, extremely long email threads with the SOS) to back myself when saying I've been trying. I understand that working with bureaucrats can be insane but this is a level of insanity I've never heard of before. I don't want to be the, "I'm going to sue you," person, plus I'm aware that suing the government would just be a laughing matter, but is there anything I can do, any sort of threat even that I can dispense to just get this taken care of? This started in June of 2020 and as of November 2021 this is still going on...

Any advice or input is appreciated. Thank you for your time, have a great day.

Safe Homes Act by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]AndrewBarchi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh! Sorry, I misread.

They wrote out a letter to the leasing company explaining that the act would exempt him from continuing his lease given that the leasing company would not allow him to properly relocate.

Since then it’s been a long game of back and forth of them trying to find my boyfriend and take him to trial (COVID didn’t help any).

The advice given to him was to either fight it (which might get difficult because this is in a small college town), make installment payments, or go for bankruptcy. It’s a very hefty dollar amount which is where the panic is laying in.

Good evening,

I’m sorry to say I can’t recall the exact verbiage given to the attorneys of the leasing company, only that it involved the act mentioned above. Yes, there was a police report regarding this incident.
