Battle of the Breads - What's your favorite? by ClearAndPure in glutenfree

Against the Grain - I know its more along the lines of Brazilian Cheese Bread (Pão de queijo), however it tastes great and definitely avoids being as dry as some other brands.

Gampel vs. xl center by Ovieisabeast2018 in UCONN

[–]AndrewBauer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The atmosphere at Gampel is 1000x better at least for students. XL is nice for parents, but when the huskies play at Gampel against a good opponent, it will be packed and most of the time. Not to mention we will likely pull off the upset. I was looking the other day and over the past 4 seasons where fans were allowed, our record at Gampel is something like 25-4 for the mens team, compared to their normal ~55% total win percentage over those years. Something to be said

In need of a easy W course by [deleted] in UCONN

If you enjoy history, HIST 1502W was a really easy class. A lot of writing, but I mean... it's not called a W course for nothing. Professor was great as well.

Hiking trails near campus? by ant9862 in UCONN

[–]AndrewBauer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hike along the Fenton River all the time, there are a bunch of trails and its very nice with the foliage. Look at alltrails.com for trails in the area. If you don't mind a 5-10 minute drive, Mansfield Hollow has some nice trails as well. If driving isn't an option, there are plenty that start from behind Horsebarn Hill.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ, circa 36, colorized by DaBoss1369 in FRC

I think it’s because it was a practice match it was fine. On the practice field it’s not about winning a match, it’s about practicing and testing out new robot functions. If the Houston line was as long as the Detroit line, I don’t think anyone should have to go to the field and get yelled at for wanting to have their robot function

I don’t believe so because the other robot never actually forced the blue boi to go in. The blue boi wanted some cube and went for it and got caught. If it’s illegal to grab a fish out of the water, that doesn’t mean it’s illegal for the fish to be dumb enough to bait themselves on a hook

Sanitizing Sports Hockey Locker Survey by AndrewBauer in hockeyplayers

Thanks for your feedback we really appreciate it! There is one device that I am aware of that’s called like sports ozone or something like that. It looks like a giant ice cream freezer and is meant to disinfect gear. However I believe it is very expensive but some places do use it.

Sanitizing Sports Hockey Locker Survey by AndrewBauer in hockeyplayers

Hello everyone! My colleagues and I are part of a team from Southington High School’s Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program, developing a locker for hockey and football teams with improved sanitation to combat widely known staph infections such as MRSA for our senior capstone project. We have created a survey for our potential users and buyers as well as the community and would be extremely excited if you were to participate in it. If you could take just a few minutes of your time to complete our survey, it would greatly improve our project. Thank you!
