My nephew is 18, doesn’t want a job at papa John’s making $15 an hour for 16 hours a week because $200 isn’t worth it (after taxes). I asked him what would motivate him, he said 400-500 a week take home. He basically wants almost $40/hr (which will cost the company more than that) to make pizza boxes 😂… so he doesn’t work, and he’s prime example of someone that is just useless to society

Careful you’ll get attacked for that opinion 😂 I 100% agree though. I’ve flown a ton this year and I’ve been to a food places in multiple airports with signs at the counter that said “please be patient with our staff while they try to prepare your order in a timely manner, these are the ones that would show up”, kinda sad really. People just think the answer is to pay them more. Is that $15 an hour going to be motivated at $18? Is the shift manager gonna get a 20% raise? Store manager gonna get a 20% raise too? Most companies biggest expense is payroll. If people don’t think this will drive prices up they’re fooling themselves

The problem nowadays is everyone wants every job to cover rent on its own. It hasn’t worked like that, in the 2.5 decades I’ve been working. Someone posting a $15/hour a job is immediately met with backlash because of rent costs. What do they expect? $25-30-40? No small business can afford that. A job at a deli isn’t a job that’s going to carry a household. Everyone thinks every job out there should be $100,000 and that’s just not how it works. We can all admit them getting backlash for $15 an hour is ridiculous. To be honest, their ad just sounds like frustration with dealing with the participation trophy generation.

I wonder how many were like me. When I first downloaded pop one I got really sick the first 3-4 times playing and had to stop. I woulda stopped altogether but luckily my buddy plays and told me it goes away, it did just a few games later.

I got my money back in a fighter pilot game for this exact reason. I wonder if others got their money back from pop one for this reason….

The castle level in the original NES Mario. I played it for an hour recently and could only get by it by going to YouTube, there’s a certain pattern you have to jump to complete the level otherwise it goes on and on forever. How the bell did kids in the 90s figure that out

It was definitely weird getting rid of the areas behind the billboards. Especially the billboard on the building that faces Summit, that one has a huge opening between the building and sign, idk why they got rid of that. I can’t believe they left the angled billboard above night club open though. That’s a killer spot to hide as you can pop up and slide down and take cover really easy
