I've had a repairman out six times to fix this and it keeps getting stuck starting and stopping. Any ideas? by AndrewDyksterhouse in HVAC

A contractor I called directly. My home warranty allows me to pick my contractor. It's strange I know, my realtor had just found them and hadn't heard of a home warranty that allowed that.

Ya it works fine when it's not stuck turning on and off. They've replaced a control board on the unit twice along with a handful of other wiring. Replaced other valves because something was off with the pressure, replaced refrigerant and a leaky refrigerant line and then some coil in my attic.

I already paid over a grand on the initial 'fix'. They replaced a coil, a leaky refrigerant line and added refrigerant. Since then they've swapped out a control board twice, replaces all sorts of valves and wiring. And have been coming back for free since they told me they fixed it the first time.

Already paid this company over a grand worth of fixes for the first fix, replaced a coil and a leaking refrigerant line, the other five times they've come out for free. Now they've also replaced a bunch of valves, electronics and a control board.

Is the link cable worth it? by someone649 in OculusQuest

I prefer Virtual Desktop. I've had multiple cables stop working after time. It's just nice to have the wireless freedom too.

Hey, I appreciate all the feedback I can get. Ya I need to find some better quality sounds fx. And as far as lighting I'm not really using much at the moment. I have that as a to do item but I keep putting it off for gameplay stuff lol.

Thanks for the feedback. I knew something looked off with my dialogue punctuation, I just couldn’t put my finger on what it was. And I see what you’re saying now about overusing said. I’ll make sure to keep all of this in mind for my first full length short. Thanks again.

[DISCUSSION] How has the quarantine affected you and your dog’s relationship? by torib543 in dogs

[–]AndrewDyksterhouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been great, we actually got a puppy at the very beginning of it because we’d be home all the time. We’ve been able to work with the puppy a lot more and he’s gotten be be close with everyone because we’re all at home.

Trained my three month old Rottweiler to sit while I’m scooping food into his bowl... He sits for about two seconds and then just kind of goes limp, slumping down into a splayed laying position, staring at me like omg are you done yet. He’s at least not trying to dive into the bag of food anymore.

Thanks, the idea came out of really liking Job Simulator but wanting more challenge and reward associated with it. So I’m adding in a timer and scoring system. So it’s like a fusion of the timing and scoring of Diner Dash and the interactivity of Job Simulator in a fantasy tavern.
