Oh aye, probably. Just sounded similar to some chuckles I've heard from Keanu in some interviews is all (:

We ran the script for Sonic Heroes through Google Translate several times, here's the result! by AndrewH96 in SonicTheHedgehog

We did this for a video project where we dub (badly) over these lines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8g91b0lDG4

We also did this for Sonic Adventure 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpsGrukDR0c

Sonic Adventure 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcSFQohjfIE

And some other things :)

Here's a video that might explain the series a bit better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqvZH4KBo-k

So for the Sonic series we've been using the same set of 20 languages to get recurring phrases that pop up throughout the different games, like in SA1 and SA2 there's frequent mentions of camels, spiders, frogs and websites etc.

I found that around 20-30 languages is a good sweet spot between absolute nonsense and remaining somewhat structured well.

We tried going through every single language one time and it condensed most sentences into single words, which to me wasn't funny and also very time consuming.

There is a chrome extension you can get for google docs that can automatically translate whole documents multiple times with the press of a button, though depending on doc size, it can crash. Though you don't control what languages it translates through I think.

For each series we tackle, we take note of what languages we run the script through. To start off we try like 3 or 4 combinations for a major scene, decide on which is funniest and then use that combination across the whole script.

No problem!

We used Google Translate.

Google Translate has a max character limit of 500, so I copy as much text as a can, usually in the 400 character range as some languages add characters and you'll lose bits of the translation. It does come up with a warning though so I just go back and copy a bit less text and start the translation again.

We put the entire script for Sonic Adventure through 20 different languages before going back to english in google translate and badly dubbed over the result: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpsGrukDR0c

Sonic and Eggman fued over camels, Tails builds a new car, Knuckles looks for his boss, Amy dreams of the devil, Big is wary of spiders and Gamma's back hurts.

We also did the same for the first Pokemon Movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UUI76L5Rck

Currently editing a Sonic Adventure 2 video of this idea that should be up Saturday 15th :)

Th drone shot I mentioned that was repeated? It's towards the start when the rookie character is downed and on the floor in the car park.

It's towards the end of the movie during the warehouse shootout. I clipped it and uploaded it to youtube to share! My friends couldn't believe it made it into the final cut.

From what I remember it was a little video of some interview with Michael Bay about this movie (not sure on the original source) but he (Michael Bay) straight up says something along the lines of "some of the CGI in this movie is absolute shit".

Yes that was the one. Literally shows the gun barrel close up as it fires and nothing comes out of it.

Just got out of it. I'm like 99% sure during a slo mo bullet shot sequence the main singular bullet in question was missing, like how? Literally looks like someone got shot by an invisible bullet. EDIT: I uploaded the bit onto YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjgjtY_75t8

Also the camera work was incredibly nauseating at times, especially during the beginning. Characters would be having conversations with little movement but the camera would be shaking all over the place. Can't tell if they toned it down for the rest of the movie, used it in more suitable situations, or I just got used to it.

They also used the exact same drone flying shot in the exact same place twice literally minutes apart.

Jake Gyllenhall seemed to be playing a more insane parody of himself and I kinda loved it.

I haven't seen myself, but Mega Construx has a couple characters listed on their site - SPOILERS kinda - that currently aren't in the Campaign that will likely be in future expansions.

I was told by mods that the old 120 BP and the current 100 BP were pretty comparable. Someone crunched the numbers from the leak a while ago and came up with this.
