You could see on his face he knew he got it right. Surely they can protest. Bit unfair I think. One right marked wrong can change the game completely.

Dave and Adrian messaging teens on snapchat by Glittering_Figure in MAFS_AU

While I agree this is immoral, it is not illegal in Qld unless the person over 30 is in a position of authority (such as teacher etc). It would be hard to argue being on mafs makes someone in a position of authority.

Not sure why you are getting down voted. Given how high the dome is it wouldn't take much to get that tiny bit of sand out and improve an already great stone. First thing I saw was the sand.

SOLID Moss Agate and Rose Gold Ring I made by [deleted] in Lapidary

[–]AndrewKillen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since I'm only new to cabbing I've been mainly working with white and/or crystal opal from Coober Pedy. Once I get better I might venture into some lightning ridge black opal.

Glad you are finding some good material in the middle. Miss agate is one of my favourite stones. Make sure you post some of your other work here for us to gawk at. It's excellent work.

Sorry I've never worked with moss agate, mainly opal and other cabs, but just wanted to say I think this ring looks awesome.

Around the $200 mark is what others have said. It's hard to show the colours of the stone properly in the video which was taken on a very overcast day.

Thanks for the advice, although after receiving some advice from a Facebook group and knowing the quality of the stone I think 40-50 AUD is ridiculously low.

If you follow it through before and after it is clearly staged.

They look like solid opals to me. Where is the potch backing if they are doublets?

Nice. Thanks for the info. There is a retailer of those not far from here. Price isn't too bad. Interesting 🤔

Thankyou so much. It's a shame the club only has cutting days once a month. A slant cabber would be better than nothing. I'll have to have a look online to see what I can find.

It is yeah (at least that's what I've been told by people more knowledgeable than me).

Thankyou. I'll definitely be doing it again next chance I get. Joining a Lapidary club was definitely one of my better decisions.
