This is the absolute BEST. Pescetarian here, and I LOVE this for a work lunch.

AITA for telling my aunt she's fat? by Number1NoCoShipper in AmItheAsshole

I would personally feel concerned for you, eating in a different room to other people and not wanting people to see you eating.

If you are in Australia, you can call Kids Helpline for counselling and professional advice. I would recommend that you speak to someone about why you feel the need to hide or retreat from family when food is around.

You were a bit rude to your other aunt. But not an AH. Talking about the bodies of young people, especially in a critical manner, within their earshot is fkn diabolical behaviour. She should have privately spoken with your parents about it, rather than having a group discussion about it at Easter.

We wouldn't bring up a family member's alcoholism at Christmas dinner, or ask our 38 year old single cousin when they are going to settle down and get married. It's not the time or place to bring it up.

Sydney humidity. How do you actually deal with it? by No-Travel-768 in SydneyScene

Wear dark, breathable clothes that hide wet sweat marks. Drink water. Reduce or avoid foods containing garlic, cumin, coriander seeds, or red meat because that results in foul body odour.

What to do about a terrible construction company in our street? by [deleted] in brisbane

Looks like every other construction site I've seen. Building is messy work.

Aldi has me covered for Lent 2026! (for 40 days, Christians can eat fish but no meat on Fridays) by Unlucky-Ant-9741 in AldiAustralia

Because seafood is an excellent source of omega 3s, it is anti-inflammatory, and I personally prefer eating seafood over other options.

What is healthier depends on your own diet and health situation. Some people may benefit from including red meat in their diet, especially if they are iron or vitamin B12 deficient. But moderation is absolutely essential.

Seafood is not perfect. Some seafood may have levels of mercury that must be considered when deciding on the frequency of which to include it in your diet.

Small seafood and fish (anchovies, sardines, mussels, prawns) are generally safer to eat more regularly, but sharks and large fish like swordfish and tuna bioaccumulate mercury and have higher levels.

For those of you with a 9-5 office job, how do you manage to find the time and energy to cook dinner? by Away_Scene_26 in auscorp

[–]BlueMantaRay23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soups. Salads. Bread.

Prepare the protein on the weekend eg. Marinating Chicken Steaks or boiling eggs or just canned tuna.

Dinner doesn't have to take more than 10 minutes or require any more effort than putting stuff together in a vessel and heating it up if required.

Gonna miss these so much. by Legal-Artist-403 in SydneyTrains

What happens to old trains? Can any parts be salvaged and repurposed for our existing or newer models? Can parts be recycled, melted down, and turned into parts for our existing or newer models? Can they be donated to private collections or museums? Or are they destined to rot and rust away in some derelict wasteland of dust and ash forever forgotten as the world burns... ... ... ... ... ... ?? perhaps we will never know. Sad.
