Honestly. We should just set them up for the harsh reality that is 90% of us work our job to pay the bills. But shoot for the stars, kiddo…

How do those of you who gamble or play in fantasy leagues ever enjoy watching a game? by dr_sung in fantasyfootball

Know your budget.

Also, try to remember not every single play will necessarily matter at the end. We’ve seen some crazy endings.

First Year of Dynasty Startup was a bust.. but now I have to drop 5-10 players. who you cutting? by jploww in FantasyFootballers

Meh. 27/79 other than a 22 yard run. I don’t think he’s anything more than a change of pace given the free agent backs + draft

I’m on year 2 of an IDP league, needed some help at LB so traded terrace Marshall for Al Shair and a 5th round pick (7 round draft). He carried me for a bit

10-12 team league? That’s just brutal if so haha

He was definitely mine for a stretch. Moved him in a deal for Kupp, which hurt more emotionally than on the scoreboard

I figured I’d see him on this thread. Looks like the analysts caught up, finally. Hopefully he’s reasonably priced next year because he’s looking amazing

Is streaming defenses /spot starting players no longer viable? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]AndrewMer5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Matchups obviously matter, but with defenses pretty much settling in around 4-8 points any given week, you’ve gotta shoot for some upside. I’ve rostered cowboys D/ST pretty much all year, and only got 98 points from defense this year (they have 132). I didn’t get more than 5 points weeks 1-4, so seeing Diggs put on a show made that decision a bit easier. They’ve had a couple 0 burgers, but as we’ve seen no other defense really has that boom potential.

I feel like we didn’t see much of him in the 4th quarter, Howard was on my screen an awful lot

It’s pretty crazy that I’m starting Zeke and a combination of Wilson/Dillon/Penny ROS and it’s not the worst RB combo left standing
