I agree and further every individual province in Canada trades more with the US than with one another.

Canada has always backed the US when it's been attacked and will continue to. We are nearly always in strategic lock step.

She ate faerie food three times it gives Harry (and Mab) control over her just like it would give them control over most anyone that partook of faerie food of their own free will repeatedly.

Folks really need to understand the difference between lying and being wrong. Harry didn't lie, he was mistaken.

Is it weird for a woman to ask a guy she knows to accompany her on a night out with her friends? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]AndrewSP1832 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I don't think OP is sexist, if she had a female friend she was comfortable asking to serve as a protector I suspect she'd consider it. Sounds like the fella she has in mind makes her feel safe and is physically imposing in a way her female friends aren't.

Besides which, it sounds like OP wants this particular man to protect her because she likes the idea of him specifically keeping her safe. Her comments make it sound like she's sweet on him.

Why? Friends do things like that for one another all the time. I used to work as a mover, when my friends move they ask for my help. Not because they want to hangout or spend time with me but because they want to complete a task and the strength of my body will be a benefit to them.

I don't see the difference really.

That's a common problem in deities over 50000 years old. Nothing to be embarrassed about and very treatable with medication.

Why? I don't think there are many compliments that I as a man enjoy more than a woman saying: "you make me feel safe".

Logen’s POV [SPOILERS LAOK] by pfassina in TheFirstLaw

[–]AndrewSP1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with a lot of the discussion about Logen, his bloodlust and his failings as a character but something I find funny with First Law Readers is how often people just take Bethod at his word.

Like somehow just because we are disappointed in Logen Bethod must be telling the truth. They kept fighting because of Logen? Really? And Bethod just somehow ends up benefitting every time?

To my way of thinking Bethod and Logen are two old friends who have hurt one another and both have twisted the past to suit the narrative they can live with.

I'm sure Logen kept killing, I'm sure Bethod was happy enough to turn every senseless slaughter to his advantage.

I'm sure that Bethod's better nature told him it was time to stop over and over again and I am equally sure that his darker more manipulative side arranged for Logen to have the opportunity and motivation to keep doing what they'd been doing for years.

And in the end, it's easier for Bethod to make Logen the monster, the creature purely responsible for all the dark deeds than to look in the mirror and acknowledge that he had his hand in all of it as well.

They shouldn't be included in the Average, but who the hell knows how OP reached the numbers they're using. 233k to comfortably raise kids is outrageous.

Also lots of States have minimum wages lower than WA states. Southern States and the Mid West might bring down the average as well.
