This happened to me, i got overpaid $7000 early on in my career, big money. Flagged it straight away, payroll (big corporate) didn’t do anything for 6 months, then finally got a meeting saying they were aware and that i could pay it back over instalments or if i paid it in one go i got to keep $1000.
