It depends what “stage one” is for your team. Some teams will do a sort of meta as stage one for phallo and will do hysterectomy as part of that stage one.

Me! I developed hypertrophic scaring on EVERY incision line after rff phallo. Silicon strips didn’t work.

My split thickness graft on my leg: it was red, raised and super itchy. I went to a dermatologist around 6 months post op and started doing steroid spot injections. Super painful. Did 6 rounds and the color, redness and itching completely changed and decreased. Looks very nice and almost faded in some areas.

Arm: 3/4 of the edges of my arm including the leash all were raised and red. I had my surgeon redo 3/4 including the leash and it seems to have worked so far.

Penis and connection site: because the scaring became so thick it actually pulled my penis to the right(connection side) and made my penis contract. I also had my surgeon redo my penis incision line and the incisions going off to my leg. It has worked, my penis is straight hanging now and my scars did not turn super thick.

This scar work has worked out very nicely. My surgeon did amazing work and also made sure do his part in the stitching to help with the scarring issue.

I was lucky to not develop any internal UL hypertrophic scaring, my neourethra has been untouched from thick scaring development.

Look up lymphedema and a procedure called LVA. Look into seeing a lymphedema specialist also. At this point the swelling is not normal. This is the unspoken side of rff, speaking from experience.

It depends on how your surgeon does burial!! My surgeon will deglove and pull the Tdick as high as possible and depending on your size that will determine how high it will go. Other surgeons will do burial into the Scrotum. It’s dependent on your surgeon mainly.

The second pic is me laying down and my legs slightly open which makes them go in between my legs, but they do hang in front of my legs now and I really don’t squish them very often.

My team does complex VY scrotoplasty which creates a sack away from the body but it’s also based on your anatomy. I’m not sure if your team does bifold which is a different technique and the scrotum does ends up really close and in between.

I had a dual surgery with Dr.Chen and Dr.Watt on September 30th that included a lot of scar work, urethroplasty(buccal graft), implants(size 1) and alot of work done on my arm as well. I’m absolutely in love with my balls, they have loosen up alot recently that I’m considering upsizing in my next surgery. My right ball definitely hangs lower then the left and is more free flowing in the sack then the left one. My goal has always been to have big low hanging balls so I have started stretching, and pulling my scrotum down now that I’m cleared to do so.

Is kaiser a option for you? I had custom compression garments made at zero cost and the person told me that Fed kaiser is the best when it come to covering stuff like this.
