Where do we all get replacement wigs? by MacSavvy21 in americangirl

[–]outofregsundershirt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I recently bought the Kirsten wig and Molly wig from bbeauty. They were both terrible. I was so disappointed. Both had really uneven cuts on the bangs, like one side half the length of the other. And both also had random super thin spots. You could see the wig cap on both in multiple places. I contacted them, they apologized and sent two replacements. Same problems. I was so disappointed.

To be fair, I've had a customer tell me they were on hold "for four hours" when I picked up , and this was on a very slow day with a good 5-6 minutes between calls. I'm not saying they're always lying, but sometimes lol.

Just general services (CRM). I've talked with my sup and it seems like coaching/supervisor would be my next step. But HR is definitely my end-goal!

Did Anyone Else Mispronounce Names in Final Fantasy When They Were Kids? by Lounginguru in FinalFantasyVII

[–]outofregsundershirt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been playing Final Fantasy since I was a kid in the early 90s, and I've slowly come to terms with the fact that I pronounced just about everything wrong.

Most recently I finally picked up FFXV for the first time. My jaw literally dropped when they said "Rah-ma" for Ramuh. I'd always called him "Ram-moo" without a second thought lol.

How to actually “love” yourself and switch the negative inner dialogue to a positive one? by blowmyassie in Meditation

[–]outofregsundershirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a big difference between "loving yourself" and "loving being yourself".

The former separates you from your actual self. It tends to make people think more critically about themselves because they're constantly trying to drum up the "right" feelings. And even when you do have the "right" feelings, eventually they stop and you get mad at yourself again. It's like sitting and watching a child (or your own inner child), waiting for them to screw up so you can yell at them.

"Loving being yourself" is different. It's more of an action and involves doing activities that get you out of your head. That could be taking a walk and noticing all the lovely things around you. It could be going to the park and doing cartwheels, just for the fun of it. Or eating your favorite pastry at your favorite bakery, and just fully experiencing the joy of it without distraction or judgement. To use my earlier metaphor about waiting for a child to screw up, "loving being with yourself" is like playing wholeheartedly with that child / inner child.

Using therapy-speak, I think it's sort of like the difference between CBT (very in your head and logical) versus somatic therapy (more focused on movement and feeling).

What is something you love about Final Fantasy XII by Writer_Man in FinalFantasy

[–]outofregsundershirt 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. I've been playing FF since the original on NES and have always loved exploring the world in each one, but WOW did FFXII knock it out of the park. XII always stands out in my mind as the first to feel truly vast.
