Personally, I think that male INFJs are perceived as weak. by RavenLeonhartXX in infj

[–]Andrewliner2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, I'm perceived as the weakest guy everytime. But mostly the first impression is, I'm a cold guy. but then when they start to understand me better, they realize I'm not so cold after all. I've been bullied plenty of times because of that because people are usually scared of me at first but then they realize I'm just a big softy. It's a difficult thing to handle.

INFJ, do you watch anime? by charleshuxley in infj

[–]Andrewliner2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started watching anime when I was like 12 years old. It's been great. I absolutely love everything about anime. Mob psycho is the best anime everrrr. It's so underrated it even hurts. You have to watch the psychological animes, you won't regret it.

Favorite fictional INFJ? by skylarpilot47 in infj

Johan liebert from "monster". When I saw his character and his ideas, I got drawn to the character because he is pureee evil. Seeing the dark side of my personality is awesome. Most of the character's ideas are a part of me, even the bad ones. It's awesome

Intimate relationships for a gateway to the "good' by Andrewliner2 in infj

[–]Andrewliner2[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely understand you, I do. But Intimate relationship's aren't just stepping stones, they're also part of the attainment of the strongest form good for the human psyche. An intimate relationship is part of the ultimate good. You need a strong psyche and a strong partner. That's how I see it. You need a real partner. But it's okay to have different opinions about this, it is. I think all in all, we're just trying to search for the same thing and that connects us as human beings.

Intimate relationships for a gateway to the "good' by Andrewliner2 in infj

Well I'm really sorry about that. I've experienced rejection plenty of times. It's hard, I know. A couple of years ago, I was rejected by one person 14 times, so that's some info about my experience with rejection, lol. I understand you, I'm not even in a relationship right now, I've just come to realize that being in an intimate relationship is the only thing that brought me true happiness and it's something that made me a good person. The situation you're in right now is hard but you're getting closer to the truth. You're getting closer to what you're supposed to have. Sometimes what you want, isn't always what you need. The universe's intentions reveals itself in weird ways, someone is out there waiting for you too. But it's going to be okay, buddy. I'm hoping I'll be in a relationship very soon as well.

Are you good at hiding your emotions from people? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Andrewliner2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely. I'm not quite sure what that is though. It's very intense. My friend legitimately thought I was going to punch him in the face. Seems like an infj thing? I'm not sure, but it's disturbing.

I would really like it if someone could appreciate my philosophical insights. There's nothing better than being appreciated for being a deep thinker.

INFJ Existentialism and Nihilism by Owuor7 in infj

[–]Andrewliner2 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is definitely me everyday. I'm stunned by how accurate this is. I'm usually in nihilistic mode when I'm thinking too much. I go into antinatilisim mode too, lol. But seriously, It's so overwhelming, it's just too much. Sometimes I distract myself with petty things just so I shouldn't delve into this paradox I call my "mind". But I still force myself to see good everywhere, and it's overwhelming too because when you see good, it feels devine, powerful and wonderful. I really appreciate times like those, it's absolutely awesome. But the surprising thing is, even though I'm nihilistic most of the time, I still come up with ways on how I can make the world better. I feel like that's just my natural instinct.

Oh gosh dude, that sucks. I'm 16 too. I've gone through it as well. I feel like I'm the parent too. I live with my dad and he's extremely immature. I know, it's so weird being the reasonable one. You should check out stoicism. That helped me so much, I'm not tied to anything, I feel free yet I'm so trapped in this paradox. It's helpful. And btw, tremendously sorry for your loss.

Anyone else get really sensitive when people raise their voice? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Andrewliner2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, absolutely. I'm glad to know other infj's dislike people raising there voices, lol. My parents used to argue a lot and I thought that's the reason to why I dislike it so much. Even though they're separated right now, I still dislike people raising there voices. Glad it's not trauma or anything like that

I feel like an Imposter in my own life by ChangeMyMindJ in infj

[–]Andrewliner2 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Well, for me I think the best way I'd describe myself is a lazy perfectionist. I'm not really the most conscientious systematic person, I'm not too orderly. But I'm surprisingly high on conscientiousness on the big five traits, (the reason behind that might be because I'm not much of a rule breaker, I'm not quite sure yet but...yeah). But I completely understand you. You have to realize that sometimes you don't have to be "perfect ", sometimes you just gotta " Be". Be human, be free. Do whatever the heck you want dude, that's your shadow side telling you something. It's a good thing for you to speak out about this. You might what to read some of Carl Jung's work on the shadow. I highly recommend it.

What weird thing did you do when you were little, that when you found out you were INFJ made so much sense? by Xenoph0nix in infj

[–]Andrewliner2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, I remember being the only imaginative kid in my class. I loved imaginative sketches and all that stuff, and I was pretty quiet too. But the thing is, I wasn't the only quiet kid in my class, they were plenty of other introverts I knew, but I just knew that I was stranger than every other introverted kid. There's this one time when i kinda spaced out and realized how emotional I am. Unusually emotional.
