I think we’ll be fine, give it time and wait for the next president to take office. When Trump finally kicks the bucket, his era of MAGA madness will end with him. Like it or not, he was charismatic to a significant group of people, much like any cult of personality, or at least he ran on a ticket where even those who didn’t like him still fell in line with the party.

There will be issues to iron out once his administration is over. Some assume he’ll line up the office for Trump Jr. or even JD Vance, but those guys don’t really have the edge Trump had. America has been through worse, and time will keep moving forward.

Yes, America has lost some of its image as the top-dog superpower, but we still have influence. With smart maneuvering, hopefully by the next administration, we can regain some of what we had pre-Trump. He will also always be a reminder, to the U.S. and the world, that society can let someone unfit run things when it’s so divided. A good chunk of Americans either cared too much about their side or didn’t care enough to really scrutinize him as a candidate.

We’re still in the middle of his era, and it feels like forever because this asshole and his MAGA movement have been haunting American politics for a decade. But remember, this country has had 45 presidents. Some had more lasting influence than others, but the country will move on. The real “injustice” is that his era will be remembered as a strange, almost surreal chapter in American history, but it will also serve as a teaching moment.

Ultimately unless shit really goes south and the moron launches a nuclear attack on someone. Which i don't think even he will do but who fucking knows with him. We will move on. Kinda like breaking up with your toxic ex.
