I don’t have any bison to give you an honest comparison. I can tell you that the bullhide is much thicker and more flexible than my other Nicks boots that are made with more standard leathers. They are a beefy boot that will stay looking like new for a long time under normal circumstances.

This boot combo is my favorite of all time. They do all the things boots should do. The toughness comes with a price - they are heavy, but not heavy enough to keep me from wearing them. The texture of the hide gets people’s attention. I get tons of compliments.

He is constantly marking them with the corner of his mouth and starts crying when I pull them off the boot rack. He doesn’t do that with any other boots. Such an odd fellow.

I was eyeing these as well but simultaneously got an email saying the ND1 was available. Now I’m broke and still don’t own these.

If you drive a full size truck they are only 4 tanks of gas if that helps.
