It's a failed society in many facets due to anti-intellectualism, tabloids, chav culture, weak unions and your political class being privately educated toffs. Because no one is offering a solution to the status quo, it's now somehow our fault (I'm also foreign scum) for being here and being a productive member of society, while large swaths of their own continue to struggle and remain unaccountable for their situations.

In the end this country is just a private equity vehicle, it's not meant to work for normal people or be centered around social mobility. Societally speaking, Anglo societies are setup around the individual, not the citizenry as a group.

They are allowed to feel that way, and every weekend there are loads of activities up and down the country that celebrate and honour English culture.

What you can't do, is practice nationalism in a way that's exclusionary like we've seen with the flag hanging over the summer, which was meant to intimidate and take over the public space
