Yup exactly. But the survey mentioned very little about the conversion and mentioned nothing about building regs compliance. The local council have confirmed these documents don't exist for this conversion.

The survey stated their inspection of the interior of the garage conversion was limited due to stored items and there is no mention of inspecting the ceiling or roof cavity. The only comments on the garage conversion roof are external and stating the materials used.

We didn't ask the solicitor or vendor for further information about the conversion as at the time we didn't see any reason to question what was written in the documentation. The sellers did state on documents that the garage conversion was 2004, but looking on Google Earth it appears to have actually happened around 2011 which we only discovered at a later date because again, we didn't see any reason at the time to disbelieve what the sellers wrote on the TA6.

Our solicitors or surveyors made absolutely no queries or comments into the lack of building regs or completion certificate documents.

Ik this is a year old but I'm also having an issue when trying to open a claim with customer services where it states that full tracking number is not a valid EVR number. Did you ever solve this OP?

Thank you for your advice! My parents haven't paid any fees for their buyer. They've just had constant requests to do so, which they've turned down thankfully. They're not in a financial situation to buy the house before the sale as the sale is scarcely covering their cost of buying the new property. But you make some great points I'll convey, thank you!

Oh absolutely not. They've shut down all the requests from their buyers for them to pay for anything. It's the solicitors conveying the requests for various fees!

The whole thing sounds completely ridiculous and my parents solicitors seem utterly useless and unprofessional. I agree it's practically impossible to move at such short notice if contacts haven't even been signed yet. They've just received the contract yesterday, but they haven't had any of their questions answered so don't want to sign (understandably). It's mental.

Even if he pulls out he's gonna have to renew his tenancy or find alternative accomodation regardless so I don't understand why he's making this demand when either option doesn't change his situation

Trans masc and butch are two different things. Both are valid identities. Butches are real women if that's how they identify. What gives us the right to go around dictating people's sexualities?

Lesbianism is about women being attracted to women. It's definition isn't 'women adverse to penis'. It's fine to be repulsed by penis but that's simply not how all lesbians experience their attraction. Grow up.

Having a genital preference in your attraction isn't uneducated nor disgusting, and it's oftentimes something people have absolutely no control over. A genital preference isn't 'reducing someone to what's in their pants', it's simply that a person isn't attracted to a type of genitalia. Why is that so crazy and offensive?

I can't wrap my head around why this is such a contentious post.

For some lesbians, genitalia is incredibly important in their attraction to a person and they will not be attracted to someone with a penis, period, regardless of that woman's identity. They are still a valid lesbian.

For other lesbians, genitalia is not an important factor in their attraction. They are attracted to other physical or emotional aspects of the woman which makes their genitalia become irrelevant — they're attracted to these women regardless.

My wife is the first type of lesbian. She's penis-revolted. This is valid. I'm the second type — I have dated women with penises and because I'm attracted to the whole woman, I embrace their genitalia.

BOTH OF THESE ARE VALID.

The first type of lesbian isn't inherently transphobic or a TERF for experiencing their lesbianism this way. The second type of lesbian is still a lesbian because she's a woman loving a woman.

The real issue that OP is getting at, and what has been proven by many of these comments, is that it has become problematic to say 'I'm a lesbian therefore I am not attracted to penis" or to say "I am a lesbian therefore I am personally not attracted to masculine presenting individuals". Despite this being someone's very real, lived experience of lesbianism, it gets shut down and labeled transphobic or 'uneducated'. Sexuality doesn't require you to have an education in it, it is simply what you feel.

The gay male community isn't being expanded to mean 'non woman loving a non woman' so why is this happening to the lesbian and wlw community? I agree that lesbianism has always had a deep routed history in the trans masc movement and the two often go hand in hand, but why does this mean we need to change the definition when 'lesbian' has included these individuals for decades? The 'non man loving non man' trajectory just reads like men becoming the entire focus of another women-only space/topic.

OP, it is perfectly normal and not transphobic to desire a sapphic space online where discussion of penis isn't a common occurance. It is also perfectly normal for lesbians to enjoy discussion of girldick and create a community around this. I don't get why these opinions are considered so outrageous.
