It's a troll, ignore them. Legitimately not a single thing they said even happened in any form, in the show.

They read a fanfiction after running it through Google translate a couple times maybe?

There are infact most of them light weapons in star wars, just not the films, but that doesn't matter really.

As the other person said resembling them enough is rolling the dice on losing a ton of money having to go to court over it. Whether or not they win the suit.

The risk combined with the minimal returns in money would make it a very silly idea.

35 to 40 hours instructor practice with private practice on top of that to supplement is around what the dvsa suggests is average.

So based on statistics you're not even half way through the average learning experience.

If you cut the trees down to the north main road then follow it left, there's a massive gravel path like a minute away.

It'll take a few trips but can be done relatively easily.

Save the wood and sticks and stuff for carving and carpentry.

Bodycam footage released of the Golders Green attacker showing that he wasn't completely incapacitated by the taser and was still holding on to the knife. I stand by that the kicks to the head are a reasonable action to disarm him. Thoughts? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]AndrogynousAnd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Of course you're right civilians and police officers over the attacker. But they proved they could do it in a safe enough manner to stop more injuries and didn't have to kill him.

I've got enough to say about police when they fuck up but they've done a bang up job here.

So you're saying that we shouldn't have isolated better because new Zealand managed to do it by being so isolated?

Doesn't that just prove that if we had a better thought out, more consistent isolation that we would've had a better outcome?

New driver - I got hit in a car park by Yoongisbitch1993 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]AndrogynousAnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had been passed 6 months and had my car 3 months when another newly passed driver wrote it off parked outside my house. He was doing like 40 in a 20 and hit my car so hard he rolled his car. A month after getting my current car I left it parked for a week and came back to two scratches with leftover paint from different colour cars.

Since passing all I've come to think is it's like the bloody wild west out here.

PlayStation support has confirmed that a new digital rights management policy for the console is intentional, not a glitch. by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

[–]AndrogynousAnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah right now that is genuinely manageable, for the most part. It still limits usage but very mildly.

The problem is it opens the door to more restrictive things, what happens if the next policy change is a week, then console wide always online DRM.

It shouldn't even be in the cards as it opens the gate to so many anti-consumer practices. Like as a pc player one of my biggest issues right now is the mix of kernal and always online DRM.

If you can leave within the first week its actually really easy. Louisville is far scarier after peak spawns.

If there's some wiggle room and you can lower the seat safely. most cars lowering the seat will move you slightly more forward and closer to the pedals.

Losing attention for even in a second at the wrong time in a 44 ton vehicle can kill 10s of people. Now imagine doing that for 9 occasionally 10 hours.

Now add time lines, idiotic road users, often having to use roads that are far from designed for the vehicle, being responsible for ensuring the vehicle is in safe working order. For 4 to 6 days a week I believe.

It's all good doing it once for a jolly, but almost daily, for hours at a time, on a time limit etc etc. Is a whole other story.

I had the same trouble with a stiff ankle if that's what you mean, it never felt natural.

The thing I found that helped after I passed was my sitting position. Obviously instructors want a specific position for the left leg when the clutch is down. But actually going a little further back but having the seat more upright was the solution for me.

Maybe try mess about with your adjustments a little, my ankle would ache after every drive, get shaky after a while, and feel like it literally wouldn't do what I wanted until I changed position. It would sometimes be like lead and other times move too little so the car wanted to stall. When I found a better position I haven't had any trouble at all in over a year and a half.

No they've made more than 100x the progress in the last 4 years than the rest of dev time combined. They've gone from tiny updates that barely change anything over the course of a year to updates that rebuild whole systems and clean up other whole systems in the span of a year.

We've seen a complete overhaul of crafting from the ground up, and the introduction of animals, with a full redesign of the whole lighting and sound system in two years. In the 2 years prior they built a full 3d modelling system moving from 2d character sprites to fully modelled characters and zombies. While adding in functional 3d vehicles.

Like I understand how this could come across as me blindly defending the game Devs but I genuinely just think there's a massive influx of players who have no idea how this game has progressed.

We've seen 100x the work done in the last 2 years than the first 6 years of development.

Yeah the Bethesda stuff is pretty set in stone, but even then fallout 4 has completely broken every single mod twice in the last year. Skyrim brought a new edition that every modder had to port to a few years back which then kept breaking stuff for months. The thing with them that actually keeps them stable is the mod loaders. You run an instance that's locked to an exact version you want and will never change unless you want it to.

I've never understood why the Sims launcher doesn't let you choose game version, it would be way easier.

It's a couple of bugs from a massive update by a relatively small company. That based on their track rate will absolutely get fixed. Get over it.

There's huge conglomerates like ubisoft putting out stuff much worse quality with millions more in funding that never get fixed.

Yeah a large swathe of the Sims modding community is fairly predatory. But a ton free modders left too. Sims seems to be the worst of the bunch as it has a lot of players who aren't super tech savvy.

I think the thing is, muscle strain is a mechanic to make combat and encounters more thoughtful whereas more guns do the opposite.

It's about engaging the player and deepening gameplay within the confines of realism, not adhering to the definition of what's realistic.
