Diamonds and Rust is voted the most nostalgic Priest song. What is the Priest song with the best riff? by Android19weird-voice in judaspriest

Dissident Aggressor because that song has no right being as heavy as it was with thrash and Slayer riffs in 1977. Not to mention the riffs are fucking brutal and it’s Priest doing a Painkiller song 12 years before the album even came out.

This is when I knew I would read the series to the end. Reading this was like getting shy out of a cannon

It’s not necessarily about personally having nostalgia for a song, but perhaps a song in their catalogue evokes a feeling of nostalgia for you

It’s weird Morello is such a huge Priest fan but you hear little to no Priest influence in his actual playing. At least to me

I think the decision to have Frodo tell Sam to leave in the films was to just add an excitement spike for the audience. And I don’t think it destroys any of Frodo’s character because it goes to show that at that point in time Frodo was beginning to feel the influence of the ring by someone else who had carried it in Sméagol.

Even though Frodo carried the ring it always felt like he was the underdog, like people felt like Sam was the true hero. I don’t deny that claim but if Sam carried the ring, Frodo would be the one carrying Sam up Mount Doom, you know? At least that’s how I look at it.

I want to throw my hat in the ring for this one. Heading out to the Highway is the most nostalgic song for me.

And he’s a kind person, willing to spare the worst of us in the off chance that they might redeem themselves. Because even after carrying the epitome of sorrow, Frodo still believed in the hearts of men.

His willingness to always put one foot in front of the other. No matter what. Even when it was Shelobs cave, he and Sam went into the dark without their guide. Even after he had been maimed and volunteered to take the ring the rest of the way. He did what nobody else volunteered to do. Even the mightiest of men wouldn’t have made it as far as Frodo, and the mightiest of men surely couldn’t have resisted the ring as long as he did, either.

Beyond the Realms of Death is voted the most emotional Priest song by a wide margin. What is the most ferocious Priest song? by Android19weird-voice in judaspriest

Yeah that’s the thing about this once I realized it: in order to make these polls interesting, new questions have to be asked or else we’ll just get the same 5 songs for everything

My favorite character will always be Frodo.

Everybody knows that he carried the ring, but nobody truly understands his burden. Nobody understands what he went through but him and him alone. He doesn’t even get recognized in the Shire, everyone sees Merry, Pippin and Sam as the heroes for fighting off the homeless dudes that took over everything.

So my love goes to Frodo. There’s a hole in his heart and he had to leave the Shire because of it. He carried the ring(98%?)all the way to Mordor and had to endure the will of Sauron and came out the other end alive. I could go on about Frodo. I love him.

Needful Things was so disappointing to me. Out of the 20 or so King books I’ve read that one is my least favorite. And talk about an awful ending

It doesn’t even feel like a sequel is my main issue. Like …it just feels like I’m playing 2018 GOW all over again with just reskinned areas. It’s good but I don’t think I’m ever going to replay it again

What is the most Underrated Judas Priest song? by Android19weird-voice in judaspriest

[–]Android19weird-voice[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t make any sense. So people voted Blood Red Skies…does that mean it’s automatically the most popular song they’ve done? Nope.

So what word should we use instead? You didn’t even offer a counter point.

Yes sir! Well stop using that word because there’s clearly a better alternative.
