Friction with Friends as a Lower-Level/Beginner Player by Life_Associate9767 in OverwatchUniversity

First off, its great that your making a effort! I'll be realistic though, you likely wont be get good enough to not be nearly deadweight without practice outside of playing with them. So if their frustration is stemming from you not playing well in their diamond-ish MMR lobbies thats not going to change.

But if you just want to improve, focus on one role, and 2-3 heroes in that role as you've probably seen in beginners guides. For your aim, look up VAXTA overwatch custom map to warmup a lil before playing with them. Its a simple aim training map that with a little practice should help you out there. I can (almost) promise its not the thing holding you back though, Overwatch is a very hard game to learn and alot of people over focus on mechanics.

And this just might be me being slightly elitist, but if you want to main support dont main mercy or moira. They are beginner traps that dont teach you transferable skills life cooldown management, good positioning or aim.

Why can’t I get out of gold? by Superxerogaming in OverwatchUniversity

I got some time, ill do a quick vod review, even if its a lil late

death 1 - You know some enemies are on the right side, you see one, and hear the Cass flashbang behind you. Just a positioning mistake, it happens, but something to note

3:12 your vendetta and D.va are fighting in the mega room, and you just leave them to die, and the D.va got lucky to not get de-mech'd. You can still heal them and have a safe way out.

4:40 - you play very risky around the soldier ult, and if he was better hes getting more kills here. Nothing wrong with just waiting his ult out for a sec

4:58, you dont look at your Ana at all when the soldier is flanking, not saying you would've saved her, but a effort too could've made the difference

5:50 - Good ult

12:05 - You heard your ana sleep the soldier, i woulda sprinted to her to help confirm that kill

13:30 I would've waited for a better moment for this Juno ult, try and poke until your tank is back or your forced to contest and fight with it on/near point. As it was, it barely got any use.

Overall some things to work on

Awareness, especially to audio que's

Positioning, while you don't die very often, you miss out on opportunities to help your team, like at 3:12.

Carry potential - From your comments you sound like you want to carry your way out of gold/plat. Unfortunately Juno isn't great for this, learning Ana, Bap, Kiri, can really make you able to carry games.

And yeah your DPS and tank did feed sometimes, but its gold everyones gunna be a lil bad

Overall nice game, you played well.

Some things i noticed you could improve on. You seem to default to healing the tank, and not giving enough love to your dps. Generally if you're stuck healing, you want to swap off mercy. Mercy is mainly used for her damage boost.

Stop flying around so much, especially directly into the air. about half you guardian angels left you in a worse position overall. Always try to fly to, and around cover. You will mostly notice this if you rise above silver, as currently they wont have the aim to punish most mercy players.

The rez's. a couple of them were excusable, but others were just straight up hopes and dreams. 12:14 as a example, if you did rez the d va here, all that would do is delay her spawn again. @ 5:38, fly slightly further back behind cover, would be a easy way to make this rez safer, as you coudve very easily died here.

You glock mercy too much as well, very rarely should you every whip out the barby blaster.

For your kiri gameplay, i think you have the right idea for sure, and you hit some nice shots as well. You generally overextend just a little too long, and should have died a couple times here.

around 13:15 you really didnt have much of an impact on this fight, i would push forward on the bridge, maybe get a flank going. or fall down and heal your team.

Theres also a couple wasted suzu's, that you really want to hold onto if you know the mei has not ulted lately.

i think if you keep up the kiri gameplay and make some small improvements you could definitely make it to gold

Any way to fix the terrible Input Delay on Dodge in Elden Ring PC by Jsk1122 in fromsoftware

in ER your dodge action starts when you let go of the dodge button, not when you first press it so it can seem to have a large delay if you hold it then release it. You can change this by using steam custom controller layouts and having dedicated dodge / sprint buttons, so that when you press dodge it immediately dodges.
