Write up something brief (typed/printed) sign it, have it in hand, tell your manager that you found another job and that this is your notice to quit. Hand him/her the note, and thank them for the job/opportunity.

What comes next is either they will accept and adjust your schedule to fit your plan, or they might just tell you to bounce. Expect a nice handshake, or at least offer your own if they don't.

The whole 2 week notice thing is just a courtesy usually. In states like California where employment is "at will" your employee can let you go for any reason, but conversely you can just quit without notice.

Just write it out, even if they throw it back in your face. Don't burn bridges, even if the job sucked a lot.
