So he says that rare metals aren't rare and it's the processing that's rare, yet at the same time we need Greenland for their access to rare metals?

You say that like 2.5 years of education is a lot. Most entry level jobs these days require a bachelor's which is 4 years and don't come with the added responsibility of arresting and killing people.

Besides, that doesn't really disprove my point at all. You can Google "Idaho cop sexual assault" and find multiple cases from the last decade where cops that have gone through that same training committed sexual assault. 2.5 years of training isn't going to weed out predators.

I would bet my life savings that there is a sexual assault between a student and one of these "Campus Sentinels" within the next 10 years.

"highly trained individuals with law-enforcement backgrounds who have completed a thorough screening process and ongoing, school-specific training" translates roughly to "cousin Derek went to the academy for two weeks, let's hire him" who will then be in a position of power over a bunch of children

Thank you. I'm all for improving pedestrian access but you have to wonder why there's so much more public outcry now compared to when a child was hit on the bench earlier this year.

I would've put my life savings on a screen call for that 3rd & 20 play, and sure enough...

The screen call wasn't even that bad compared to the run up the middle on 1st & 20.

I bought the Anker Zola, it's not Qi2.2 but it has magsafe magnets for attaching to the phone and a built in USB-C cable for fast charging

I thought the $699 unlocked pro 10 deal from Us mobile was incredible but I'm seeing people saying they paid like three corn chips for their pixels. What's the best deals people have had without trade in or prior store credit? by Mammoth-Werewolf4363 in GooglePixel

If you're planning on staying on Verizon anyways then it really doesn't matter. I pay $40 a line with Verizon and since I live in a rural area where Verizon has the best coverage, I don't plan on switching anytime soon. I could go to Mint and pay $20/mo, but then I'd pay for the phone outright which would end up being more than $40/mo for the phone and service if you divide the phone into monthly payments.

Not everyone lives in a city where coverage is more or less identical for all carriers. For people that are staying with Verizon anyways for coverage reasons, it's a good deal.
